Ultra Tune Killara

We had the best experience with the team at Ultratune. When our car broke down I was told by a number of mechanics that the work would take 2 weeks. I have a baby and this would have made life really difficult for us. The guys at Ultratune were phenomenal. They understood I had a young child and worked overtime on the car to make sure we got it back by the end of the following day. I couldn't believe it. I am so grateful!

Regular customer at Killara Ultra tune. Always polite, advise upfront if anything needs to be attended to. Have always been on time and charged reasonable costs. Tyres always changes at best price. Will definitely be back and recommend.

Terrible experience with simple Rego. A failure on clear communication, even after they had my car a second FULL day, despite sign 'rego while you wait'. Happy to 'service' customers who's cars easily fail (come last minute/don't replace own wipers/sump washer) But if like me, a month in advance/service own car, it's 'back of the line' rego-troll treatment. Judge for yourself, the downramp/workshop is messy and unwelcoming. Ultra tune should mandate franchisees put clear, honest communicators in charge of customer relations.

The team at Ultra Tune Killara are incredible. Their work is thorough and efficient and they cannot be beaten on cost. My car needed a number of things done to it and they were really accomodating and ensured that the jobs were done correctly. I drove away armed with knowledge and confidence. Cannot recommend them enough.

Had an issue with a possible cracked cylinder wall. After looking at various options and economics we decided to replace engine with a reconditioned one. This was quickly sourced and installed. Very happy with the price, timing and workmanship. Staff all very helpful and motor running well. Have used their services numerous times over the years.

They did the service “according to manufacturer’s specifications” but would have liked more detailed feedback eg any thing they noticed that may need attending to in the near future. This would give me more confidence that they did a thorough job and that my car is ok.

I went in to get a regular service on my car as well as new break pads and break rotors. The staff was super friendly, knowledgeable and has very fair pricing. I picked my car up that afternoon with everything finished. Would highly recommend.

**PLEASE READ - WARNING**I (alone, female) took my car to this garage for a registration safety check and was failed by their mechanic (Tom). I take good care of my car and have it serviced regularly. I was failed due to a headlight having some condensation inside. I explained that the headlight itself had not changed its hue and is in perfectly working condition. I have never had an issue with a safety check because of this and whenever I've brought it up to other mechanics, I've always been reassured it's a non-issue. So imagine my surprise when I was told by Tom and the owner of the garage that the whole headlight unit must be replaced as it was deemed unsafe" for the road. I was quoted $600 for the replacement with a genuine part or to source my own product and have it installed for approx. $250. When I explained the above to the owner and the fact that I couldn't understand a little bit of condensation deeming my vehicle as unroad-worthy

Went in for a rego check and it failed due to brake pad. Part was ordered the same morning and all fixed by the afternoon. Brake lights were also fixed and windscreen wipers.Quick service at reasonable cost.
