CMI Hino Adelaide

I recently had my truck serviced here as I usually do but I also booked it in to have an oil leak rectified. I took it in on Friday and was told I should have it back late that day or Saturday morning. Friday afternoon I received a call saying they needed to order some parts in to fix the oil leak and they needed to replace the batteries, so it would be ready Monday. When I went to pick it up I was told that they weren't able to fix the oil leak because they didn't get the parts?!?!?! Didn't they need it for the extra day to give them time to get the parts? When asked what they did do they said they serviced it, changed the batteries and washed the engine to locate the oil leak. IN THREE DAYS?!? Then they charged me $482.15 for two batteries! I was told that it also included labour. Even an idiot like me could change those batteries in ten minutes. They did however offer to quote me on repairing the oil leak. That's what it was there for this time! $1641.65 later, I won't be hurrying back. Unless your vehicle is under warranty I suggest you find a good honest mechanic elsewhere.

It’s biggest rip of company for what I have seen. They don’t even tell you what they gonna do they just do it and at the end of the day they charge you ridiculously. Staff don’t even have proper experience what I could see. I picked up my truck dirty after service full of oil at the front of the truck inside missing some parts tight bar, book hasn’t even been signed. I wouldn’t suggest this company to do any service of your truck .

Big thanks to Jarrod and Kylie for getting me into my second 350 ridged. We got there in the end through all the covid obstacles. I’ll see you next year for another one. I love these trucks.

It's a pity other truck servicing departments looked at the way these people treat their customers and you only have to go to another place on Grand Junction Road and it's like chalk and cheese , I would highly recommend CMI Hino Adelaide as they do what they are supposed to do and do not mind answering questions the service department are a credit

Parts department is super helpful and parts ordered quickly if they don't have it.

Friendly staff, rang up on a Friday afternoon for a spare part, picked up Saturday morning without drama.
