Hawkings Point Lookout
Great little hike, which doesn’t take long but is steep. Recommend good footwear due to loose rocks. To find the start of the track drive to end of Picnic Street and you’ll see it. The sunset is amazing from the top. Well worthwhile.

Hawkings Point Lookout
Fairly easy walk up to the lookout, allow around 20- 30 minutes to get there. Highly recommend going just before sunset & bring some snacks for a little picnic. Famtastic 360 degree views. Only about 10 people there, everyone quietly watching the sunset. Don't wait til it's completely dark to go back down as there are some steps and obstacles on the path that are easier when you have a bit of light left. Some street parking at the start of the track.

My favourite lookout on Magnetic Island! Amazing 360 views of Picnic Bay, Nelly Bay and beyond. Worth the 95% uphill (steps) walk with a few other vantage points on the way.

Hawkings Point Lookout
Wow! Such a stunning walking trail! We took our 3 year daughter with us and she loved it.Highly recommend bringing your drone, you would get epic footage that’s for sure!Heaps of flora and just a nice nature walk to the lookout. Great view overlooking Alma Bay, Nelson Bay and Picnic Bay.

One of the best views on the island, really recommend for any visit. Keep your eyes peeled for echidnas on the walk up!

Hawkings Point Lookout
This is the sort of view you would walk an hour or more for! A short well made path with stone steps leads to a rocky outcrop. Great for sunrise and sunset.

Hawkings Point Lookout
This is a short walk with an amazing view. View looking towards Townsville, Rocky Bay and Picnic Bay. We went up for sunrise even though there wasn’t any sun. Great little hike.
