Amazing tattoo place. Highly recommended. Monkey did my tattoo. I gave him a photo what I wanted and he came up and designed a really cool one. He’s very professional and did a really good job on the details of the tattoo.

I was recently recommend this studio by a friend who is an artist but it was a disappointing experience at almost every step. There was almost no communication before the day, the art was nothing like the references I sent and the artist was rude, right from being late to the first appointment. We came to an agreement on the art with assurances that it'd be super detailed and cool and it was fairly bland and boring when done. The actual artistry is not great either, lines don't meet up, shading is weird in places, some soft edges are really sharp and positioning wasn't what we discussed.Didn't feel like a welcoming environment to be in and just felt rushed through. I tried to give them a lot of freedom to just do some sick artwork and it felt like I was just there to fill a time slot.I'm going elsewhere to correct it.

A really great group of boys! An easy and fun vibe to get a tattoo. Great work from all of them. They all work together to brainstorm and generate the best work for the client. Would happily recommend the team at 1891 to anyone interested in getting their first or 50th tattoo.
