Great local small business. They have a wide range of cards, gifts, books and heaps of other things. Most of the stuff you'll find is very unique and interesting. We often went in while walking by and bought a few random bits just because they stock such fun little gifts.

I love The Grumpy Swimmer bookstore. An independent store staffed with knowledgeable and friendly people who make excellent recommendations. The children’s book range is fantastic. The gift and card range are great too. It’s a beautiful place to visit and pick up a gift - especially something for myself!

While the shop itself is lovely and has a nice range of books /gifts, the attitude of the owner/manager destroys it all. He barely acknowledges customers giving the impression that he is simply tolerating customers and doing them a favour. It is a pity as some of the staff are lovely and I was interested to see other customers had the same impression. I no longer choose to shop here and prefer to spend my money in other small businesses that display a friendly, warm and welcoming approach.

This great little book store is a local gem. Huge selection of books and the staff are really helpful and nice. I'm often going in picking up gifts as they have a great range which seems to change often which is great.

Excellent book shop with a great selection. Always good advice and efficient ordering system if what you look for is not in store. The staff are very friendly and knowledgable. A much cherished local gem!

The only downside is it has a small step at the enterance so it's not wheelchair accessible. I used my walker and could get in, easily but the back of the store at the kids section is a little tight & I struggled there. Friendly staff & I had a great experience with them ordering in a book for me.
