SILVER SERVICE DRY CLEANERS

I had a terrible experience at this store, my clothing was damaged and the owner was incredibly rude and dismissive on the phone. Would not recommend going here.I took a pair of pants to be dry cleaned and they were returned to me with heat damage. The material of the pants was visibly lighter in patches and creased. When I took them back, the receptionist told me the owner Vivian would call me after she had a look. When she called me a few days later, she was dismissive of my concerns telling me that any damage was done by me (I don’t even own an iron at home and the pants were very new). Then she contradicted herself and claimed that I should have told them to use a lower temperature, as if I’m the expert at dry cleaning.She wouldn’t refund me the cost of the dry cleaning or pay any compensation for the pants, which were over $400. She yelled at me and then abruptly hung up.

Simply the best!I take all my designer garments there weekly and have been doing so for many years. Will not trust anywhere else.The quality is amazing and delivery is alway punctual. Never had any problems.Vivian and her team are professional and friendly. Highly attentive to detail.Very reliable and trustworthy. Highly recommend!

The best service I have ever received from a dry-cleaner...During the midst of COVID-19 my clothes were stuck in Silver Service's temporarily closed Barngaroo store.Upon calling the owner to report the clothes she was kind enough to transfer them to another store closer to my home.What's more ? I don't think my clothes have ever been so well-pressed.

HORRIFIC EXPERIENCE. DO NOT EVER GO TO ANY SILVER SERVICE DRY CLEANING STORES. I HAVE NO DOUBT ALL OF THE BELOW NEGATIVE REVIEWS ARE TRUE!!! Vivian - the owner is horrendously rude, inexperienced and abusive - a true scam artist. I took my Grandmothers precious 1950's wedding dress to be cleaned and steamed, only to find after 5x weeks, Vivian had lied about cleaning it and refused to give it back after hounding her weekly via phone and text. Horrendous experience, and one I hope others can learn from.

Had some new pants taken up here. Silver Service at Zetland made them shorter by almost 2 inches... When I raised this, they asked me for proof, which of course how could I provide proof. So I am leaving a bad review instead. Pants are now unwearable.

Silver service definitely does not align with their actual service. They have had my 3 month old $850 suit jacket for almost 4 weeks. I had to return it after dry cleaning as it was damaged (looks like bleached) from cleaning.The owner Vivian Samaha was supposed to call me back a week ago to discuss it with with me. No call. I left her a voicemail message on her mobile, and multiple messages with staff in Zetland. After calling Zetland again today I was advised Vivian had called them to say they would try and clean it out again. The damage was a bleached section of the jacket, and the material made smooth, there is no way that can be fixed by cleaning it again... I was very patient waiting up until this week due to the Christmas period, but it has been 2 weeks since you've re-opened and there is no excuse for not getting a call back after 2 weeks. All you have done is created an upset customer who will now spread the word not to use you (I train in the gym above, and I know a lot of people in the gym who I intend to let know of this).This is an edit from the original review: I finally got a call from the owner the afternoon of leaving this review. Aside from taking zero responsibility for the issue, she was abusive. Added to that, when the call was finished (which I thought would be the end of it) I then received an sms tirade from Vivian the next morning accusing me of complaining it was 3 months (Vivian read this review properly) they had my jacket. Incredibly unprofessional and harassing behavior. The worst behaviour by far I have experienced in my life from a business.Added to that, when I finally got my jacket back, it was more damaged than when I put it in the first time. Their answer to making the small patch that looked like it was bleached was to do that to the whole side of the jacket, and there were similar marks in an unrelated area on the back of the jacket... Based on the phone call and sms, I can't help but think this was purely revenge for the bad review. My jacket is completely unwearable now.And management, I see you have tried to tell 2 other people on here they have fake reviews and pretend they are not really your client. Seeing as my experience is not so different, I can only assume you are trying to pretend these bad reviews are fake to cover up bad service. My name on my review is exactly the name in your system.

Usually i won't post a negative review. But what a surprise! The worst dry clean shop try to change the name and get rid off all of the negative comments. Yes, I am the customer who contact you more than 10 times in regards to my jacket has been missing for years. I am literally do not have any hopes that my jacket could be possibly send back, but EVERYONE ELSE please do attention: if you really don't care your cloth, then, this hell is the place for you to send it in!!! As we all already realised, the owner just copy and paste the response over and over again: we have no record of you and remove your false review":)"

I read all the reviews before coming here and was skeptical, but my first few dry cleanings were actually ok. However, I dropped in 2 dresses for dry cleaning, one which I had had dry-cleaned here before. I didn't realise that on the tag of the other dress it said 'Hand Wash Only'. Jessica pointed this out to me and offered to hand wash it for me, and I agreed thinking it would be max $20. When I went to pay it was $100.I came back 10 minutes after paying as I looked at my receipt and it said 2x Dry cleaning, $50 each. I was confused as I was only getting one thing dry-cleaned. I went back and asked her about this and she said that on her screen there is no option for 'hand wash' so it costs the same as a dry clean, which is just ridiculous. If she was going to charge me that much she should at least explain the costs and why they are like that, and they shouldn't even offer hand wash if they don't have an option for it, what a scam. I asked for that dress back and they don't even offer refunds, only store credits.As for the other dress I dropped in, last time it cost me $35 to dry clean and this time it cost me $50. I asked Jessica why the price had gone up and she tried to say it was because of the material and it depends on how much pressing the dress requires, to which I said, it is the exact same dress

Should have read the reviews before I took my dry-cleaning here!Absolutely ripped me off - charged me $80 PER JACKET and when I got my jackets back, they still had marks on them! They had to dry clean them again - it's like they hadn't even touched them the first time!On top of it all, I had to take one of the jackets somewhere else for the smell that they were unable to get out" and would you believe it

My dress was returned to me with four damaged straps with the silver end pieces missing and the straps left fraying (or where Silver Service Dry Cleaners had knotted them together). I only discovered this when I got the dress home. The care instructions said 'Dry Clean Only' and Jessica the Manager upsold me to a $50 'Delicate Care' which I paid for over and above the care instructions.Vivian the owner will not return the four ends to me (Vivian initially said she found two in the machine, then Jessica told me that they had three and the last was 'in the machine'). So I have no ends to even try to use to repair it, and Vivian won't even refund the $50 Delicate Care charge. The dress was returned to me with the ends knotted to close them up while Vivian supposedly looked for brand new ends, but that never happened.After a month of following up I received a rude email from Vivian to say that now she does not have my strap ends, and that she will not refund the cost I paid for 'Delicate Care'. Please, do not trust your beautiful clothes to this company.
