Food wasn't that good.Fish tasted like cardboard, no salt on anything, chips has bits of bright green on them and oily and gravy was horrid.We came to purchase fish and chips from reviews which we thought great so drove beyond to experience not a rather nice dinner.

Nice food and price for the sea food basket . But the size varies. Some days you get a heap of chips and some days it less then a hand full .. also some time they miss things like crab stick ( seafood stick ) ...

Got battered cod and chips approx 2 weeks ago. Chips were limp. Batter on the cod was soft - ie...you could place your finger on the batter and roll/peel it back. If you picked the fish up it just fell out of the batter. I'm old school and cooked batter is meant to be crisp and crunchy. Gave it another chance last night and (twice) specifically asked for fish to be cooked for longer, so crispy. Pointless request as limp batter again. Possible reasons... very busy and trying to rush orders through, or fat can't maintain high enough temperature through continual use in busy period. Either way, won't be going back. Was hoping for more with the new owners.

I was given a recommendation by a friend about this new little takeaway. I was not disappointed. The fish was so fresh and battered fresh as it’s about to be cooked.The burgers are next level and great value for money.I highly recommend this local in Pumicestone.
