On Great Central Road in the Gibson Desert this roadhouse is a bit of an oasis. Foods ok, staff helpful, fuel in cages but was a breeze to use.We were stung by the diesel price @ $3.40 litre but there was no other options

Has a laundry. Only $3 load thank you. Great to have access to fresh fruit and vegetables. And fuel. For those who are concerned about the cost, it's about as remote as you can get on the great central hwy. I am sure they are not making much profit over the year so just maybe be grateful they are here at all. All these roadhous3s ensure that it is only 250 to 300km between stops. Thank y9u for being here for us. Opening hours are rural not Sydney or Melbourne relax enjoy the scenery make a cup of coffee. Campground was funtional and the kitchen & ablution blocks were clean and seem to be well serviced.But main drawback with all service stations on the GCR is the late opening and early closing is not suitable for travellers.

Very isolated roadhouse on the Great Central Road. They say that they have the most expensive diesel in Australia and at $3.40 per litre compared to $1.90 odd in Perth, they are probably right. Camp ground is good and secure.

Everything we needed and the staff were very helpful and friendly.

Didn't expect such a good stay.The campground is well maintained, the kitchen and facilities are clean and tidy. The staff is friendly and helpful.All sites are powered at the reasonable price.The telstra mobile reception in the community is pretty good - I could run my zoom meeting with no problems.
