ULTIQA Freshwater Point Resort

The unit itself is huge and has a nice view of the river, obviously an ocean view would be best however it is nice and relaxing and peaceful even though it is close to the casino. Overall an enjoyable unit and spot. Best enjoyed if you have a car at your disposal.

We stayed a week at this resort. It was lovely and quiet and exceptionally clean everywhere. The only criticism was the 24/7 extractor fan in the bathroom with no option to turn it off. If you are a light sleeper this would bother you. Easy walking distance to Broadbeach beach with plenty of places to eat. The on-site cafe does excellent coffee and light snacks/lunches. Would definitely recommend this resort for couples and we will return for further breaks here.

This is a lovely resort, close to broadbeach and all the restaurants (about a 10 - 15 minute walk away). The apartments are lovely and have all that you need. The only complaint I have is about the non refundable beach towel hire. I would not mind paying a deposit and have that returned when the towel is returned but $10 for a towel that was well worn was a bit ridiculous. If I had known I would have bought my own from home. But other than that (and it did not spoil our time) everything was great. the staff in the cafe are very friendly and bright.

We stayed in a two room apartment with a kitchen, two full bathrooms, a bathtub, washer/dryer and a balcony with the view of the city. The accommodation was great. Free on site parking (odd parking arrangements). Day 2, we discovered the doors didn’t have housekeeping signs so we expected that the rooms were serviced automatically. Unfortunately that wasn’t the case and after a full day out at the theme parks the rooms hadn’t been serviced. Day 3, we contacted the front desk in the morning and asked them to have our rooms serviced. Noon that day, no housekeeping staff was seen on the entire floor so my wife contacted the receptionist and on the phone and they assured her the cleaning staff were busy but would attend the room. We left and returned just after 3pm and the room hadn’t been serviced. With four people in the room the rubbish was overflowing and the bathrooms were empty of shampoo and soap. I had to physically go to the reception and have them contact housekeeping to service the rooms. Day 4 no one serviced the rooms and we departed on Day 5. Lastly, the room was supposed to come with a continental breakfast but we were told that a gift basket was what the replacement.

This was our 3rd stay at Freshwater resort. The first visit was in January 2020 when the pool was being refurbished. We were fully informed that this was the case well in advance of arrival. The second visit was in February 2021 and we have just returned home after our 3rd stay in June 2023. We have thoroughly enjoyed the facility and the suites are very clean and comfortable. Location is great. Only negative is the parking which is a bit of a “dog’s breakfast” due to the fact that hotel guest parking is scattered all over the place. Not 5 star but very good 4 Star.

Great apartments with an amazing pool. Easy walking distance to so many things. Downsides were that there were no towels in the room when we arrived and the Queen bed was made with single sheets. Also has physical keys instead of swipe cards.

The apartment was very spacious and clean. Parking was good and its only short walk into the heart of Broadbeach. Couldn't get the TV to work as a smart TV - unfortunately there was no instructions - would be good to have a welcome pack on how to operate and what's nearby info (ie supermarket - bottle shop)

Have stayed here several times and has always been amazing. The staff are friendly. exceptionally helpful in any questions we had or booking any excursions we went on. Handy having a cafe on the premise. Location close to everything. Cannot go wrong if you stay here.

On entering our spacious one bedroom apartment, we were greeted with a great basket of goodies including wine, cheese, crackers, chips and chocolate biscuits - a very nice surprise. Ourapartment was clean and tidy and nice and quiet. Only suggestion is that the carpet could do with being refreshed.

The room was ok spacious but WOW the carpets were disgusting! Stained and looked like they hadn’t been cleaned in 20 years!!! At least make an effort to clean them! Also they don’t warn you about the junkies in the park at night… avoid walking through there…
