I’ve been taking the piano lessons with Ian for 9 months now. I tried to play keyboard a little bit in my early years and had no more exposure to the instrument afterwards. I’ve always wanted to be able to play for pleasure and to impress my friends but I have never had spare time for it until recently. A friend of mine recommended Ian to me so I thought I would give it a try. I must admit I’m extremely happy about the progress I have done so far. I admire Ian’s professionalism, experience and skills + a lot of patience :-). I normally get bored with new things fairly quickly but Ian’s got that incredible ability to create interest and passion for music in people that makes you want to come again and learn more and more. Seeing results motivates me a lot. He makes every lesson unique and interesting. What I also like about Ian’s lessons is that he provides many notes as well as original arrangements when requested. Ian is very flexible with times which perfectly suit my busy lifestyle. He also often gives more time than allotted. Basically I would recommend Ian to anyone who needs inexpensive and professional piano/keyboard lessons with a lot of fun along the way as well.

Ian is an amazing piano teacher. He is passionate about music and shares that passion through his piano lessons. He knows what his students need to learn, understands what they want to learn, and is akin to their musical strengths and weaknesses.
