This is a fantastic air museum. The guide Bryan was extremely helpful and informative but he was run off his feet as it was very busy on account of the long weekend. Hopefully they can attract some younger guides to assist the volunteers, especially on long weekends.

An ok activity for school aged younger kids if you find yourself in Hamilton. Entry is $20 for family of 4. The venue is pretty jam packed with relics from the history of Ansett Airlines such as staff uniforms and onboard merchandise, much of it lost on small children who have no experience of when the airline was up and running. We spent most of our time climbing aboard the replica coaches on site but would have preferred more access to actual aircraft. Total time spent was around 30 minutes.

Shared some great memories of the Ansett Road buses & Ansett Dehavilland Heron flights from country town of Naracoorte to Melbourne via Hamilton as a young boy with my father in the late 1950's.Friendly & helpful volunteer showed me through the museum.

Visited the museum for the second time. We loved the Ansett story and such pure Australian stories need more sharing and telling. We loved the way every little detail is preserved including employee reviews from the past. Also Heather is very friendly .. my boy was also happy that he got an Ansett model plane there! We shall be back!

An amazing collection and our guide on Sunday was so knowledgeable and passionate! This place is just wonderful and all Aussies should go check it out, especially those of us who remember Ansett. The government needs to give them all the funding the require to keep this place running and looking fab - it is a national treasure.

This was just great, having travelled many times on Ansett it was great to show the kids a piece of iconic Australian history. We learnt the history of Reg and what a life he lead. So great to see all the hard work the volunteers have put in and generous donations. Having a personal tour by Noel just added to the experience. So glad we stopped in, added bonus only $20 a family.

This place is so cool!Lots of history on Answer airlines. Also found out it started as a business driving people into other towns with cars and later busses in Hamilton. We did not know it was in the town. We stopped at the park next door for lunch and went in to have a look.If you want a day out, go for a drive to Hamilton, get lunch in the town. Have it in the park at the lake and go into the museum to have a look.Lots to see. So many old uniforms. And they also sell souvenirs :)$10 entry for adults.Lovely lady who was working also have my daughter a biscuit :)
