Sandy point on the Murrumbidgee river at Hay is a popular free camp on the outskirts of the town. The facilities here are of an excellent standard well maintained by council staff. This is rapidly becoming one of our favorite places to stop for a few days so we can do some shopping and catch up with the locals who are very friendly. Spend some time and money here and you won't regret it.
