Eagle Point Cottages

We thoroughly enjoyed a relaxing and peaceful stay in Shearer's cottage! It was very comfortable for 2 adults and 1 golden retriever.The amenities provided had everything we needed, with the kitchenette being suitable for cooking a hearty breakfast each morning.Very pet friendly with the fully fenced backyard area. The cottages are a short walk (1-2km) to a private beach area with clear waters where our dog was able to have a good swim!We enjoyed the tranquil sounds of wildlife, especially the frogs croaking in the nearby pond. If you need silence to sleep definitely bring some ear plugs!Eagle point was a great home base for visiting the nearby towns (Bairnsdale, Paynesville). Highly recommend Pier70 in Paynesville for a picturesque, dog friendly lunch/dinner option.We wouldn't hesitate to come back to Eagle Point Cottages!

Amazing accommodation in a great location away from the hustle and bustle of life. I stayed in the Sage cottage which was very modern, fresh and clean with all the mod cons you could want while still having that lovely country charm. Awesome bushwalks near by which I thoroughly enjoyed. I had a great stay!

small private cottages - we stayed in the Shearers.Just about everything you could need is here.There is a private beach about 1.5-2 km that you can trek to (some steep hills). Great views are on offer though.

Absolute gem! I’ve stayed in one of their cutest cottages and it was an amazing stay. Very nice ambiance for a weekend getaway and enjoy the sound of nature. It’s a plus that they are pet friendly! (Conditions apply)Highly recommended!

Great stay. It is indeed pet friendly- our greyhound loved the yard to run around in and then sleep in the sun. Close to a few towns - an easy drive to pick up some pizza and enjoy it on the front porch. Will definitely be back.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Eagle Point Cottages. Our little dog Bobo loved the open space around the securely fenced back yard. We stayed at 2 different cottages, both of which are very comfortable and fully self-contained. Great facilities, friendly owners. It ticks all the boxes for a relaxing escape. Close to Paynesville and Raymond island where we enjoyed koala viewing. We found Eagle Point a good base for a day trip to the picturesque Lake Entrance and also exploring the surrounding coast.Most importantly we had a blessed week of unique experience where we found friendship and shared experiences. I love the cottages because it was close to Paynesville and there were fences right around the cottage so I could keep my 2 dogs in without worrying about them. I will definitely go there again on my next holidays.

Lovely accommodation. Stayed in Sage cottage which was absolutely stunning, so cozy and inviting. The secured fenced backyard was a win for our fur babies to enjoy. Phil was a superb host. Definitely coming back again.

We have been hosting so many great guests lately - and enjoyed having you in our relaxing micro-farm setting. Its been so nice seeing the wood fires buring outside each of the cottages - enjoying a drink & a marshmellow!
