A popular brunch place for residents in North Melbourne. The place has its own special vibe as I guess it was previously an Auction room, hence it’s name. For me the food was ok but what put me off was that is overpriced. Our party of four had a total of $164 to pay. For a Sunday lunch way too much. I usually don’t mind paying for good quality food but not when it is just overpriced because it’s a popular place. Sorry will not be going again:(

My favourite cafe in Melbourne with no doubt! Love the vibe, food, service and experience there :) The breakfast board was simply so yummy with fresh ingredients that made my day!

We came to the auction room for brunch. We ordered the eggs your style one was scrambled eggs and the other was poached eggs. Also ordered the size of hollandaise sauce and smoked bacon. Both were delicious and recommend the flatware and latte from here as well.

Love love love the interior design of this cafe. Tried the breakfast board and it's pretty unique and interesting. Will definitely come back to try other dishes on the menu again. Parking is fairly easy along Queensberry St which is a plus point.

Not bad for brunch. As per standard? Brunch are quite costly for what you get. However? The service is great here, and the atmosphere is what you’re paying for. It’s a great and relaxing spot to take it easy and hang out with friends/family.

A very popular place for brunch. The food and coffee are amazing, including vegan option. They offer indoor and outdoor tables. The atmosphere is a little noisy and crowd during weekend. The surcharge in weekend is 10% which make it a little expensive.

Gorgeous food, atmosphere, and staff. Coffee was spot on and parking wasn't too bad. Well worth a visit. Can get quite busy so be prepared to wait.

Great service, excellent atmosphere. Variety of seating areas with different vibe to suit your mood. Roomy yet cosy, industrial yet clean. Review based on the basics, great coffee (St Ali), scrambled eggs perfect.

The quality of the food and coffee at Auction Rooms is excellent and the venue is very trendy. I ordered the French toast with frosted pecans, caramelized banana, whipped cream and bacon with maple syrup. It was sublime. It's a pretty popular destination so you might have to queue up for 10-15 minutes but it's worth the wait.

Rustic and inviting atmosphere. Amazing service. Friendly and attentive staff.The food was delicious and beautifully plated. We had the summer tomatoes, miso baked salmon, eggplant cannelloni and the corned beef hash. The eggplant and tomato dish really stood out for us, both tasted amazing and were filling.It is a bit pricey, but the quality of the food and service definitely made up for it. Def give this place a go for a delicious brunch.
