This is great place to get legal help, if you are down and out and don't have the money or just need some legal guidance.

While they were okay with outlining the steps I needed to follow in a particular matter,the solicitor that they recommended I contact was just awful.This solicitor basically told me (after signing me up for a grant of legal aid) that they didn't have time to answer my questions and that they weren't interested in legal aid clients because they made much more money dealing with private legal matters.Not really what I wanted to hear while delaying with a stressful, emotional matter.This legal centre should be more aware of who they are directing people to and maybe check if these solicitors are actually interested in dealing with people who don't have funds.

Rude, unhelpful, condescending, dismissive and without compassion or care in their customer service. I tried 3 times at this centre for different issues and each time had a bad experience. Unprofessional. Do not use!

Very helpful & knowledgeable regarding tenancy information & rights. But overworked particularly with volunteers.Overall a very good community service.

Elizabeth Evatt Community Legal Service is without a doubt the best place for people without funds to get the best legal on tenancy law. They helped me navigate the steps to legally have my landlord do the right thing, and saved me thousands in legal fees and in possible liability. Thank you to the Elizabeth Evatt team.
