Pioneer Valley Museum
This is a free museum. Worth taking half an hour to have a look at the collection. The best thing about this museum though are the volunteers who man it. I had the great fortune to encounter an old chap called Artie" who regaled me with quite a few yarns. I was in the Mackay area looking into family history. It is all well and good to look at more elaborate plantation house museums showing the life of the wealthy landowners
