Honestly, after 30 years of driving and using different mechanics, Daniel is by far the best mechanic I've had. He's honest, gives you the best option for your situation and I'm proud to send my friends his way to get their car fixed. He's also a really nice guy

Daniel is an exceptional mechanic. He's helped me out with a few problems on my old ford many times and always goes out of his way to provide great service!

Dan is the man here, top notch mechanic with great service, good advice and an even better price. My Commodore has been running smooth as silk since coming here for the past three years. Always checks with you before carrying out work with realistic time-frames of what needs to be done Beforehand got error codes and rough idling being maintained elsewhere.

Daniel is an excellent mechanic. Super happy to have found him. After so many years taking cars to different mechanics, it is the first time ever I don't worry about being overcharged and/or mislead. Daniel is honest. You will know exactly what is going on with your car, and he will give you the best options available for very reasonable prices.

Adjusted from previous 5 star review.Previously a second service with Village Garage and unfortunately it will be my lastAfter collecting my car from Village Garage and driving around for a few hours I heard an unusual squeaking sound when accelerating from a standstill. I tried calling Daniel (the owner/sole mechanic) but was unable to get through, I decided due to the potential safety concern that it would be best if I drove to the workshop in the hopes of getting it resolved. I explained the situation and Daniel's answer was that he was unable to fix anything as he had other cars he needed to work on. I asked whether he could at least diagnose the problem so I could take it elsewhere as the noise was not there prior to the service he completed. His response was that he didn't have the time, and I would need to book in another time, and of course pay for him to investigate the problem (keep in mind this problem was not there before the service he completed).Unfortunately based on the above I cannot recommend Village Garage as a potentially dangerous situation has arisen through the garage's actions and without any attempt to rectify the problem. At best it's terrible customer service and at worse it's negligence.Should the above issue turn out to be serious, my next contact will not be to Village Garage but the relevant authority.

Great mechanic. Provides great advice and service. Has looked after our cars for past 14 years and always have valued the care he has given to the vehicles.

Daniel is professional and reasonably priced. He always calls ahead if there is an unexpected expense to offer options. Have been going here for years. Would recommend to anyone.

Daniel is the best mechanic, always calls to let you know how much something major is going to cost before he proceeds, explains the work that was done and is easy and friendly to deal with. I used to live close by, now I live quite a way from Ripponlea, but still go to the hassle of taking my car there because the service is so good I simply don't want to go anywhere else.
