Had a really good experience when purchasing a new Eveready Battery system to compliment my existing Solar system. All my queries were soon answered by the very friendly staff at SouthAus Solar and the installation was done very competently by the local contractors. Very happy with the whole deal.

Very happy, great product, fantastic communication and service

We answered a letter drop in our area for Solar Battery from SouthAus Solar as we had panels installed 4 years ago.The salesman was very informative in explaining what systems were available . He explained clearly the different sizes and attributes and worked what would suit us best. The company arranged all the required approvals seamlessly. They sent us emails with all relevant details. Installation was arranged and done with great efficiency. The company followed up well. They are only a quick call away if we ask anything. System works really well. Would highly recommend them.

This review is based on the sales person and nothing towards their installation / service or otherwise.I didn't doubt the person on what they were talking about but felt like the call was being pushed too hard to the end goal with a shrinking time limit based on a tv price that wasn't being mentioned and a limit of time to gain the remaining units at $4000+ rebate. Their own adverts felt false and I wasn't getting pushed into a decision where a deposit was needed to keep that window open to get higher rebates.This isn't marketing or sales, it's doing something under duress of not getting that deal. Which in all cases can be considered an illegal process of forcing decisions (near coercion).I'm glad I pulled away when I noticed it and found another place to buy from.Please give Stuart a cute animal to pat, less pressure into selling hard, I know how hard sales can be and they could sell well if they could relax a little. Staff can always do better in the right environment.

Great at selling their product, poor after sales service.

Can you please stop sending misleading letters saying best price for TESLA POWERWALL 2 when your offer is around 9K Vs there are many installers who offers same for around 7K. Even TESLA themselves does it for 8200.00 in SA for single phase.

Mixed feelings. Professional installation, albeit without a proper pre-installation site inspection (still, no one has checked the solar panels on the roof). Their monitoring and maintenance plan seems a bit of a fizzer, isn't preventing a problem with a scheduled annual inspection/service, better than fixing a problem when it does occur?Promised huge profits with the installation of the Tesla Powerwall and VPP, but then recommended to stay with my current provider as a 23c feed in tariff seems to be better than going with Members Energy? I'm confused. As I was told energy was being traded for as much as $14 in some months and as low as 33 cents in others. Doesn't that still beat a 23 cent FIT?The biggest issue I had with SouthAus Solar, is not dealing with ONE or even 2 or 3 people from start to finish. I swear i've spoken with and been called/emailed by at least 7 or 8 different people from both SouthAus Solar and Sunbank Solar.Pre-purchase - sales pitch seemed promising and won me over.Pre-install - not impressed when they send out someone without a ladder that doesn't inspect ANYTHING just takes photos which i'd already emailed to themInstall - friendly and professional. Can't fault the work that they did.Post-install - still getting calls and emails from various people asking how it went, if i'm happy, to leave this review, etc. Still, no one has checked the solar panels or connections on the roof, nor have they explained exactly how the monitoring/maintenance works (consensus seems they monitor it from their end and only act on it when something goes wrong). Is that how you service a car? Preventing problems is better than waiting for one to happen and repairing it.
