I have used Reliable Property Repairs for a number of years. David and his team do a great job; friendly, reliable (yes, it's not just a name, but an ethos), and always clean up after themselves. I thoroughly recommend Reliable Property Repairs for any handyman job you have.

Should rename as unreliable property repairs. Came in and started work, kept leaving for bunnings every 10mins then as soon as lockdown announced decided to leave with work half done. Normally not something that would be an issue except when it affects my hot water system. To then have the tradesman call back and say sorry I won't be back for over a week, bloody outrageous. Such poor service especially with nobody answering their phones after this.

On a call with your business, I was told the job would take 2 days. Day 1. The guy spent most of the first day going back and forth to his car for a cigarette. No drop sheets in sight, just old curtains or anything he could find in his car, so there is old paint that he scraped off the ceiling everywhere.Day 2. Sands down the plaster he applied the day before, plaster dust everywhere, on beds, furniture, floors etc. Half way through the job on day 2, the guy tells me he has 2 smaller jobs he has to go to but will return in the afternoon to finish my place. Leaves my place, still in a mess from previous day and an added mess from current day and paint tray with paint, roller and brush still in it on my polished timber floors. Guy doesn't return, no phone call, text or email to say he wouldn't be returning.... nothing. More than a week goes by before hearing from this mob to schedule in a date for this guy to come back, no apology, nothing. Comes back yesterday 26th September and it's worse than the previous 2 days. More plaster dust from sanding, and today, he gets paint on a coat that was hanging on a coat rack, but instead of saying anything, he just tries to clean it off and hide it. Unfortunately for him, my Granddaughter saw the hole thing, again not an apology, nothing, not a word from him. You should consider renaming your business, because reliable you are not. If I could give zero stars, I would.

The team at Reliable Property repairs made it so easy to have my ceiling repaired. They turned up on time and did a great job, at a good price. I found the handymen to be courteous and thoughtful. I would have no hesitation in recommending Reliable Property Repairs for jobs around the home or office.

How pleasant to have a company who come out when they say they will - explain what needs to be done, lay out the timeline for me and clean up after themselves - would not even know they had been. Our property agent engaged this business to check out the issue of the whirly bird. I was told, to repair it would be $80 but then it was totally replaced & we were charged $290.40, which is not as bad as they claim it is a brand new whirly bird but refuse to give us the warranty that came with it, claiming there isn't one. I have called up 3 other businesses who deal with whirly birds & have been assured, all new whirly birds come with a 10yr manufacturer's warranty + their own warranty. (UN)Reliable Property Repairs finally told the agent, after I asked for it, that their warranty is only for 1 yr. Their unprofessional, dishonest & suspicious behaviour only brings us to believe that they did not, in fact, replace it with a brand new whirly bird, instead got a 2nd hand junk & charged us a brand new pricetag. That is exactly the price the other respectable companies are charging for a brand new unit with a warranty in tact.DEFINITELY DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY, THEY ARE CHEATING THEIR CUSTOMERS! Do not use them unless you want to be ripped off.No thanks to SmartRE property agency for using such shoddy tradies. They don't seem so SMART afterall!
