Adairs Kids Essendon

Isi you are absolutely amazing!!! I wanted to say a huge thank you for all your help. Isi at Adairs Kids Essendon was fantastic and very knowledgable with helping to prepare for our newborn baby and what we will need to help setup our nursery. Isi you are a valuable asset to Adairs kids, I was unsure of what items I will need for our 1st newborn baby and Isi made it very easy and was very helpful. Highly recommend to visit Adairs Kids Essendon, great customer service and beautiful range of products. Very happy customer. Thank you so much :)

I don't think I've ever had such good customer service! Terri went above and beyond to help me get a much wanted item for my daughter. Her cousins have them and she just had to have one! Of course the item was an exclusive run and sold out online almost instantly. There was showing low cost in store at Essendon so I called up. Terri answered and was so so helpful! She truly went above and beyond go secure the item for me. She tried her best to sell me the floor stock she had, but couldn't yet get an answer from her area manager. In the meantime, while on a busy Saturday on a long weekend and understaffed, she found me the last one in VIC and secured it for me at another store. Signed me up to linen lovers to save money as well. All up we had 4 phone calls between us and she never ever once showed any sign of being fed up with me! Truly she was a gem! I hope her managers see this!

Very pushy staff makes shopping here very uncomfortable. The woman who served me literally grabbed items I didn’t want and put them in a pile for me to buy. I had to to convince her I didn’t want them. Pretty unacceptable, I won’t be going back

Such a great experience at this store. Both Isabelle and Terri went above and beyond providing exceptional customer service and a very enjoyable experience after I was stuffed around at the Victoria Gardens Adairs store. I can’t thank you both enough for helping me find the perfect items that I was after to complete bubs room. Went in to purchase one item and after declining 10 times to become a member the lady at adares kids kept insisting and proceeding to question me as to why I didn’t want to join.Never coming back. Pls accept no the first time. Get a grip.

Rude & unprofessional!! While shopping for my toddler who was also with me, we were served by a lovely young girl who was extremely helpful. Unfortunately her elder staff member, was one of the foulest mannered, rude humans I’ve ever met! Taking a toddler shopping by yourself is hard enough as I’m sure many parents would understand. Her comments led me to leave everything I was planning to purchase left behind, I had to drop everything and leave as I was so overwhelmed with her comments towards my child. Children will touch things in stores, not a single item was harmed and her comments were truly disgusting and unacceptable! You work in Adairs kids, at-least pretend to be nice to your customers and their children.

Agree that the staff are very pushy. This is expected for retail, however what I found the most disgusting was the push to transition our 1 year old into a big bed along with all the products we’ll need for the transition. Whoever we dealt with went on about how this needed to be done and she was speaking from years of experience in child care. This advise is wildly inaccurate and she should not be working there or at a childcare. I’d hate for unsuspecting parents to actually listen to her and suffer the consequences of transitioning their kids too early. Absolutely disgusting.

nearly always deal with Terry! She's absolutely amazing, and always so lovely to my kids! Always shows me the bargains that she knows I'm looking for too! So happy to shop here!

Very pushy staff. My son just wanted to ge a pillow case but she pushed us to get membership plus more items that I couldn't find them online. I never come back this shop even other branches.

I had a fabulous shopping experience with Isabelle during boxing day sale. She is such a gem, I have never experienced such a great customer service anywhere in Australia, esp in such a busy sale season!!She showed me the bargain that saved me hundreds of dollars, and really went above and beyond to get the item that i’m after- even if it is not in stock in there or online.Thank you Isabelle, for making everything sooo easy for me and helping me decorate my dream nursery.Often time, it is so easy to just say ‘no’ or take the shortcut but I think Isabelle really put customer in her heart and she’d do whatever she can to help customer. I could write an essay for the whole experience, but simply put she is just the best!
