I could not have asked for a better experience with my Solar package from Solar Smart. The whole team from sales to installation were friendly, trustworthy and professional. Even better they were competitive on pricing with the other solar companies that I spoke with. The installation was quick, easy and of a perfect standard.Overall, our experience with Solar Smart was spot on and we're happy we chose them!

Solar Smart was very helpful in guiding us through the various options and provided a very competitive quotation - thanks Sue.Once we accepted the quote, a full explanation of the process was explained to us and installation booked in for 7 days after giving Solar Smart the go ahead.The installation team turned up early, explained the process and then went about doing what they had to and all was completed within the advised time.The settings were adjusted and they did a very good job in explaining to me the process and how to adjust the settings if required.Everything was cleaned up - no mess left behind.Next thing was to call their office and Ethan guided me through some minor points,We couldn't be happier with their service and pleasant and professional manner.

Got a 10.5kw system from these guys... half for us, half back in the grid for $$ savings, with enough capacity to option a battery setup if we like later on.Great friendly, professional team of installers... Punctual service, neat and tidy installation, cleaned up after themselves, gave me a run through on how it works and how to connect to the wifi and even organized all the registration and grid integration for me.Been running for almost a year now and has already saved us over $1000 compared the previous year.Had a slight hiccup just now as the power went out to the neighborhood, causing a small glitch in the inverter... called these guys up and had the problem fixed within a couple hours.Impeccable service, I highly recommend them.

They installed an Enphase solar system upgrade from 6 kw. to 10 kw. because of my pool heating upgrade and it performed for one year, when some feedback downgrade due to a faulty relay, Greg responded immediately to assess the issue and corrected to the grid feedback standard production. It has failed again but Greg has a new company the older is not accountable any longer.They are not responding as Solar Smart but RISE Solar and they are not maintaining the system they installed two years ago, SMART Company is gone as many retailers and installers are doing to don’t comply with their non existing warranties.Installing any solar system in Australia is risky business … and we don’t get capital investment return in the short time and much less in the longer time if the system brakes down or is damaged don’t expect immediate response unless via a lawyer, period.

This was my very first experience with a domestic solar system. I did my research and then contacted Solar Smart. From start to finish Greg and the Solar Smart team were there with honest and easy to understand answers to all my questions. The price was extremely competitive and the process super efficient and seamless. I am looking forward to cheaper power bills at last.

I could not fault the initial consultation and installation of my 10kw $11000 out of pocket solar system. Everything was fast and efficient.Almost immediately after installation however it was evident there was a fault with my system. Basically it shuts down from about midday to 4:30 pm daily producing no power. I relayed this to Greg and on his advice I got SA Power to test the supply to my house. This was a 9 week process with the results from SA Power stating that there was no fault from there end and to consult my installer.This is where things have become frustrating. Greg and Damian from Solar Smart have completely ignored every phone call and text I have sent them over the last few weeks. I have rang the head office and the receptionist there said she can see Greg in the other room on another call and he will call me back straight away. That was two weeks ago. I have tried to call Damien and Greg most days since then including texts which have all been completely ignored. I actually don’t know where to go from here.In my experience Solar Smart are efficient at installing systems and getting paid but that is where the service stops. I’ve waited several weeks to write this review as I wanted to give them the benefit of the doubt, hoping that they would finally answer my calls and at least give me some communication.For these reasons I can’t recommend Solar Smart and would suggest anyone interested in installing solar use a company that has a track record for looking after customers after install.

So Happy to have chosen Solar Smart Qld Maroochydore.We have wanted solar for a number of years but have put it off till now.Shopping around we wanted a local company.We got a couple of quotes from a couple of other companies which was a nightmare once they had my phone number I received numerous high pressure sales phone calls from these other companies.We decided on Solar Smart QLD Maroochydore and could not be happier With all of the team after first speaking with Sue she was very helpful in putting together a solar system quote providing the size we needed & brands that we wanted. Matt helped out with all my questions being new to Solar. Greg explained all about the installation process.Our Solar System was installed in under a week the install went great they even were able to arrive at a earlier time to suit us. They team were punctual, polite & very professional Reece was amazing everything was setup & explained so Happy Thanks to the team at Solar Smart QLD Maroochydore.

In August 2020 we engaged Solar Smart to install our 6.6 KW solar system. Greg was extremely knowledgeable about the solar options that were available and very helpful in all discussions. He was very pleasant and professional to do business with. When it came time to install the system, the installation team arrived on time and were very professional in their roles and very respectful of our property while installing the system. Not only were our inverter and solar panels of the highest quality, the ancillary equipment such as racking for the panels on the roof, securing system and installation were first class. The installation team showed us how to install the monitoring app and managed the paperwork for our electricity retailer. Also, Greg called in during installation to make sure we were happy with how it was all going. After the installation was complete, the team removed all the packaging when they left. We were left with a high quality solar system that was professionally installed and looks and operates great. We could not be happier with Solar Smart and highly recommend this company to those seeking to install a solar system.

Just a warning to anyone looking to install solar power. DO NOT use Solar Smart QLD Or Mates Rates Solar on the Sunshine Coast.They are the same companies. All they do is Rip you off and sell you a cheap system that will break and then they will never answer your phone calls Matt Sara is also in the same con down in SA.The companies own contractors over $190,000 and is soon to be intrenched in a court case to wind up all there businesses.Don't trust these two con men. Would not be surprised if there behind the new re-brand Solar Smart Australia. No real Id. Cheap low quality systems are there game then when they all break they fold that business.The director suffers from covert narcissistic personality disorder.To many unpaid invoices and broken agreements from this company.

We were impressed with the service and product. Our old solar panels needed to be replaced, Solar Smart quickly supplied a very competitive quote and made the whole process extremely simple. They were installed by Ethan and his team who did an excellent job of taking down the old panels and putting up the new ones, realigning them for maximum exposure to the rays. A top quality job all around, we are very happy and would recommend Solar Smart.
