Horgans

While placing another order with Jane at Horgans, the review from Adele caught my eye when I saw the one star rating she had given the company.I am not aware of the circumstances surrounding Adele's order other than how she has described it. However, I am compelled to place the following comments on record.As a professional property stylist I have been dealing with Jane and Horgans for the last 7 years and I must have placed in excess of 50 orders with her. I have found Janes's service and the quality of the furniture excellent. Delivery has always been spot on with all packing removed. I have referred clients to her and they have also been impressed with both her service and the quality of the furniture.I note Adele's delivery was delayed due to circumstances completely outside Horgans' control which does happen on the wharves from time to time and, no doubt, further exacerbated by the impact of Covid outbreaks at overseas ports that have prevented goods from arriving in Australia in any timely fashion.I do understand Adele's frustration and while she has absolutely every right to voice her opinion we know there are always two sides to every story.Kai KaldaKai Kalda Interiors

Beautiful furniture, lovely design and color. Place an order in Nov for a dinning room and a lounge room furniture. Was told the dinning room will not be available until mid December 2020. Was ok with this date for a delivery as I wanted my home ready for Christmas. on the 18/12/2020 I called the sales assistant Jane Dwyer who said the dinning room isn't available due to a wharf dispute. Haven't heard of anything like that. Jane Dwyer mentioned the dinning table will be available in Jan 2021. I request immediate delivery. On the 21/12/2020, their delivery truck showed up with the furniture, two men couldn't get all furniture where it supposed to be inside my lounge room. They left the main sofa in my garage. Promised to come back with a third guy to move the sofa inside my lounge room. Two hours later, nothing happened. Called the head office only to be told it's against their policy to get this sort of work done. The white gloves service I paid for was never short delivered. Rubbish was left in my place even though it was supposed to be removed by their team members. I then got on to BG removal who showed within two hours notice and moved the sofa from my garage to my lounge room at a charge of $400.00. Horgans also charged for the dinning table which theynever delivered. I requested a refund which was processed.In the new year, I requested compensation, they've agreed to a partial refund of $93.00.I contacted their office in Feb 2021 to find out about the rest of my order only to be told that they wish to charge me double. Accused me of being dishonest. The director of the company Renee Horgans who seems an amateur, spiteful and greedy said I've upset their many people in her company. Obviously she either has been told lies or simply has no idea what her staff are doing.Pretty much the entire team are dishonest, unethical and will be getting legal advice.

We had a fantastic experience with Horgans. The furniture is so stunning and the service was great. Delivery was extremely prompt too. We will most certainly be getting more furniture from Horgans in the future. Sam is brilliant and very friendly. Thank you
