Riverview Rise Retreats

Money well spent. Amazing view of the river! Really enjoyed staying in Mannum, definitely coming back :)

What a place! After a busy few months for us we needed a weekend to unwind and this Riverview was definitely the place to do that. A huge 10 stars for who ever designed the interior of the cabid as it was absolutely beautiful! The decore and styling gives a sense of calm luxury that created a calmness from the moment we walked in. Then as you walk around you discover all the little touches that have been included. The books (we spent an hour reading the one about SA house styles) and games, the awsome smart tv I could share my phone on so we had all our music playing thru the surround sound. All the furniture was comfortable and easy to relax in. The entrance to the bathroom and luxury of the spa room is the worth the price of the room by itself. The awsome shower room with river rock floor and cut wall which meant I could look out over the river sunrise while having a shower. The kitchen is equipped with everything you would ever need for a weekend away and the provided breakfast was good. Unfortunately there is 2 small things I didn't enjoy hence only 4 stars. The water situation was terrible. I simply could not get in the spa with water that looked that color. I understand it's clean but I just couldn't do it and the inconsistent shower temperature meant I couldn't enjoy that for long either. 2nd is the direction the the Lazy Jane room is pointing meant we had full sun for over 3 hours during the evening and as it was 35° during our stay made it impossible to stay in the front alcove for most of the afternoon. It would be good if there was some shutters or a solid blind the could be pulled down during that time just to keep the heat out a little bit.

My partner and I stayed at the Lazy Jane Lodge for a night. The many highlights included magnificent views, the soothing sounds of nature, the ambience of the surroundings and the 5 star experience of the Lodge. The lodge has all of the amenities and more for this experience including privacy, a spa, king size bed and coffee machine. We had a very restful night's sleep and will certainly have this place in mind for another stay in the future.

Stayed for couple of nights as part of our honeymoon. Amazing location and great attention to detail. Was nice having a quick and easy check-in and knowing you were going to be left alone with no one around. View was simply stunning. Quite expensive but for special occasion and to get the isolated location good to splash out.

Super nice place for a small getaway. Lovely and neat house, including everything you need. The views are amazing!Highly recommend and definitely will go again.

I've stayed a few of times now, including for our anniversary, and each time just gets better.That feeling of seclusion is never lost on me.The moment I step through the door the outside world disappears.Fully equipped so there's no need to venture out. And that bath! I dream of that bath!Always perfect for our weekend romantic getaways or cheeky midweek escape.
