Great beach. It was quite windy and the waves were choppy the day we went - strongly recommended to only swim within the area marked by lifeguards.If not going into the water, plenty of empty space in the sand further away from the crowd.Parking usually not an issue.

Have visited many times, love watching the skydivers sail down near the beach. A place worth visiting. Will go there again. G

The long beach... namely Wollongong Beach in south of NSW .It's far from Sydney 2 hrs by train.It also have jogging and biking track along with beach .Very nice place!!!

Beautiful and clean. Fresh seafood on offer at the fish n chips shop.Bit expensive but worth it for a good feed. Plenty of seating and a lovely big park for the kiddies with grassed area for a picnic.

Warm sunny day to go to the beach will definitely be Wollongong Beach. It was well maintained for walk and even for the pets. Allocated area for pets that can be left freely. Enough parking space. Lots of eatery places nearby.
