pretty unkept and uncared for. lot of pines with die off, despite being an older plantation than the one at Otways NP in Vic, these trees are alot smaller and in poor condition.

It's a nice enough location, but badly weed-infested, and assist from a small car park, there are no facilities. There is a single, bitumen path but this too, is poorly maintained. It isn't possible to get lost in there, because the place is so small and the main road is always ready to locate. But there is little to recommend it, especially given there are so few trees - not good, given the location's name.

Pialligo Redwood Forest
Walk amongst beautiful Redwood trees and remind yourself of how small a human is looking up to these giants. Plus it's dog friendly.The cons are:1. It isn't tranquil. This is due to the main road and airport built next to it - very loud vehicular noises, screeching, and roaring engines wherever you go.2. It needs more trees to be more of a 'forest' - certainly has the space for it to expand.

Pialligo Redwood Forest
One of my favourite places in Canberra as it’s where hubby and I got married. A great location for a picnic or dog walk. The trees are just beautiful and you’ll even spot rabbits and birds.
