Some of the best challenging play equipment for a range of ages in town it's also fairly spread out if you need a walk or the kids need a run, the park has a bbq area taps snd public toilet which is generally not too filthy it also features a historical wool wagon and some great hiding and climbing trees, but the park is thick with bindis so long pants and heavy supervision of toddlers is needed and it's close to a road and parking is minimal.

Absolutely terrible! I bought a chicken wrap looked like they tried to put a nappie on my piece of chicken. The coffee was cold..would not recommend

Good park, with a good playground. Could do with some more play equipment on the southern side. Could do with some better care of the trees and some gardens and landscape wouldn't go astray, it's pretty flat and boring for the most park.

Anytime of the year, Even in Winter, with the sun shining through the Ancient tree's, it's Beautiful, Enjoyed by families, couples, Elderly, it's a Jewel in the Crown of Armidale, the Highest City in Australia.

One of the best parks in Armidale for children, with a climbing apparatus and other swing equipment in place. Toilets, trees and bbq are all very good, too.Shame about the history behind the name, but Armidale loves it white Colonial anochronistic history, so what are ya gonna do?

Equipment is way too close to a major road for my comfort. There is also too much of a penchant for people to pull up and empty their cars into the bins so the bins are always overflowing. It's hot heaps of open space to run around in or go for a walk however.
