Not a bad place to grab a quick bite or lunch. Good Mexican food and the worker at the register was so kind and respectful. Gotta have more people like him. Food was nice, no problem with it

The location for Guzman y Gomez new addition to the western suburbs is great.Offering deliciously prepared traditional Mexican food to either eat in or take away.The ambience is modern, well decorated, with colours that reflect Mexican culture and traditions.The Staff provide a fast and friendly service.There's also an outdoor eating area and a drive-in for those in a hurry.The Restaurant is very clean throughout and so are the restrooms, which is a Plus.There is also a baby change area provided on site.Definitely the place to go to if comida típica Mexicana is on your mind.Highly recommended.* If Soft Serve Machine is not working"

Worst gyg I’ve been to. I have to ask for extra chicken everytime I go and still get less chicken than if I were to go to any of the other chains in Melbourne. Not to mention the ungodly amount of beans that they drown my meal in. This is way too many beans for one human, I’d assume they have some sort of utensil to measure the amount of beans they’re putting into a single bowl and they’re just not using it. I’d rather be given less beans if the kitchen staff aren’t going to bother measuring.

GYG is my go-to for quick and healthy meal after gym workout. My favourite is the mini burrito bowl with additional meat, so I can increase the protein and lower the carb content. The slow cooked beef is flavoursome and soft. I also tried their new caramel sundae with churro. The churro is very crispy, paired perfectly with the creamy sundae. The caramel sauce is not too sweet, the result is divine! The service is quick and good. The deco is very nice and they place Latin music which I love.

I am confused as to why this franchise is so popular. I am not a Mexican food expert, but i enjoy eating food from different parts of the world.Being the only major Mexican franchise in Australia helps when there's no competition. I thought i try the local one to me. The food wasn't horrible, but it just doesn't have any flavour. It was like it was seasoned with a cardboard, and very bland. South American food is known for its flavour explosions, but there was nothing at this place

Probably the worst Guzman y Gomez I’ve had, really disappointed. Ordered the nachos with pulled pork and got a sad, stale meal with large portions of pork (not shredded)

Picked up some Guzman takeaway of a Friday night, due to their constant ads on tv claiming to be so fresh and healthy they were top of mind come dinner time. I actually really like the beef burrito bowl. Not sure if it is in fact healthier than a burrito itself because it does have quite a lot of rice but I certainly enjoyed it nonetheless and it’s a definitely filling meal

Awesome new store, unfortunately it seems a bit too small for the area, although it does have a big double drive thru... I am disappointed that the store had no lettuce on hand.- A chicken burrito with cheese, tomato, onion & sour cream and rice (though I prefer lettuce instead of rice).But seriously GYG... You need to upsize your coffee cups, the mediums look small. Go bigger, this is BIG MELBOURNE.You're in Melbourne, adjust to our coffee culture.I can only assume this store will be busy over time, as and when deliveries are accepted by Menulog, it will be fantastic, it will spread the coverage of the GYG menu to more houses in Melbourne's West.
