Food VERY quick to come out which means it's pre cooked. Some people on our table hadn't even gotten back to their seats and meal's were there. The chips are always under the food which makes them them soggy and inedible. When asked if we could have the chips on the side they said no. Not sure why this cannot be accommodated as everyone on our table of 15 wanted chips on the side not soggy mush under the food.

Lovely food. I had traditional chicken parma, OH had fillet steak. Would have got 5 ⭐ but had to send steak back as was extremely rare, when it came back it was perfect. If we were staying in the area longer we would definitely return

Arrived in Mallacoota on a Thursday and it happens to be “Pot and Parmy night.” A beer & a Parmy for $25! The Mrs. Frothed it.I enjoyed a grilled barra & oyster special. Local oysters from just up the coast. It was a 10/10. The kids meals were GREAT value for money. But the number one item that you need to try is the Sticky Date Pudding. Hands down the best I have eaten. So many are more like a cake. Finally someone has a recipe to make it properly.- great atmosphere- friendly staff- great value- delicious food (short wait on a busy night)Everything was so good that we’re going back again for our second dinner (and last night) in Mallacoota. Thanks for the hospitality,Justin Bexon

Very busy place. Pumped meals out. Food was good but not great. Steak was nice and we'll priced. Chips very average chicken shop style. Probably due to shortages to be fair. Would give 3.5 stars of I could.

Nice family run business. The seafood platter is good value. I've tried the more expensive platters up the coast and this one was competitive for the price. The Thai style mussels were especially tasty. I also got to try their homemade sticky date, which was the best I've tried. Definitely give the bistro a go next time you're in Mallacoota.

Tables have no menus or cutlery. Front bar had a staggering drunk, amongst locals that don't like campers. People come thinking it's the only pub in town, but the Mallacoota golf club is a nicer place to eat and drink.

Bar staff energy great with quick service considering it was busy!Unfortunately, not the same to be said about the bistro.I had lamb cutlets and i know the inside is ment to be tender inside. However, the batter was not cooked properly and neither was the outer layer of the lamb. Peas tasted like over cooked slop that was falling apart & For some reason everthing tasted very salty despite the fact I didn't use any salt or pepper provided.I complained however nothing came of it ....I understand it was busy however, cook didn't even offer to cook another one or anything. It felt like bistro only in it for the money & numbers not the passion of cooking food to please well paying customers. Not even an HR after eating 1.5 cutlet of 3 I feel like I am going to vomit.I remember the days when the food had some sort of love put into it.$35 I think for a meal you expect for it to be half decent at most.
