Poetic Justice Cafe Gallery
Family run cafe, with all that that entails. Chaos, decibels and warmth. Not a place for airs and graces, nor for the aficionados of nuts, seeds or quinoa substituting as food. This is a friendly, unpretentious and welcoming little cafe. Great home cooking, lovely people to deal with, and blue ribbon coffee. This lady just has the touch and she gets it right every time. Highly recommended.

Had lunch catered by Gayle & the team, short notice but they really delivered - generous servings, beautifully fresh sandwiches and house made muffins and cookies - sublime. Feed back from guests best muffin ive ever had. Where did you get this?!"Gayle kindly gave us an extra few cookies for the road. Highly recommend"

Every time we come Gayle is so friendly and ridiculously nice to all her guests she knows. Knowing how much she helps out the community is the icing on the cake. Serving size is waaaay generous, fed me and hubby with enough left over for a third person easy. I hope Poetic stays a Gawler staple for many years.

If I could give a lower rating I would! We went in and ordered 2 takeaway coffees. After 20 mins we still hadn’t received our order. I went up to the counter and the young girl went out the back to ask about our coffees and was yelled at and called stupid for taking coffee orders without asking for permission first! This poor young girl was verbally abused in front of customers without the owner (?) having a care in the world. I was appalled, got our money back and cancelled our order. We’ll never go back.

Refreshingly friendly staff! The definition of hospitality. The lady mistakenly served our coffee in takeaway cups and then gave us the most delicious sticky date pudding to make up for it. Afterwards an elderly man in the cafe was about to get a parking fine on his car across the road, the lady ran across the road and prevented it from happening! What a kind soul

Absolutely amazing customer service and the owner is such a lovely lady to talk to. The food is delicious. The staff were all friendly and kind. Was seated quickly and my drinks and food came out quickly too. Will definitely be coming back here soon

The owner lady seems to have bipolar, angry insulting and needs to treat people nicer. She's so rude and her behavior was disgusting. Went for coffee never going back again. If I could give zero stars I would, actually if I had the power to shut the store down I would. The poor staff shouldn't get abused either. Just not how you run a business

Rude owner or manager, would never go back. We were ignored when we walked in and although we were in front to get seated, someone the worker knew walked in after us and was seated without a booking. Then the worker was rude to us so we left. Would never go back.

Good brekkie, good coffee and great company. Gayle, the owner, exemplifies good customer service.The cafe has a nice art gallery feel to it. Well lighted and very accessible and makes you feel very welcome.
