Amazing pizza and very friendly staff.I ordered the vegan pizza with a gluten free base and to my surprise it was the best that I ever had.

Expected better when we visited unfortunately. I ordered anchovies on my pizza and it was almost inedible due to the level of salt - I think the sauce must have been salty as it was and the extra just tipped it over the edge.Also, the back of house is pretty disgusting. I don't understand why the owners don't spend a bit of money to do it up to a decent quality.Staff were friendly and helpful.

Walked in without a booking and luckily we were able to be seated (special thanks to Jasmine for taking care of us). Cannot fault the food or service. Will definitely be back if we are in the area.Note: best to book ahead if you're planning on dining in

Full stars for an excellent restaurant. Great food and great staff. We had pasta our first visit and pizza the next. I would happily drive to Katoomba just for the pizza!

Stumbled across this authentic Italian restaurant during our stay in Katoomba and it was the best pizza I have ever eaten! 100% authentic with generous toppings, not too overpowering base and you could taste the ingredients’ freshness. Woodfired pizza has that crispy burnt crust but retains the slight doughy texture. Price is very reasonable too and the wine they recommended was divine! Staff is friendly and restaurant is busy so do book ahead.

Walked into Rustico, didn't have much expectations as it was our first night in the mountains, and ordered their signature pizza called.....wait for it.... Rustico! It was a recommendation by one of the staff and boy was it a gem! Their Rustico pizza is, no exaggeration, the best pizza I've ever had. The ingredients were fresh and plentiful, the taste of the sauces was strong but not overpowering, the base was thin and crispy while still maintaining the powdery" texture of fresh dough.The ambience was decent and the staff were friendly and attentive.The Nutella bomboloni was decent but not fantastic though.All in all a 5 star experience! Highly recommended!"

We were too tired after a long day hiking to eat in so we grabbed a couple of takeaway pizzas. I ordered the pumpkin cream base with salami and mozzarella pizza. So delicious! The restaurant was inviting with a wood burner fire and everyone was so friendly. Next time we’ll eat in for sure :)

Came here after a 2 hour drive.Managed to walk in around Sunday 6pm and ordered their special the Rustico. I believe they have a surcharge over the weekends.I don’t normally have this type of pizza, however I found it was quite tasty, however a little bit pricey.

This was honeslty the best italian pizzeria i have been to the food was fresh, staff very accommodating, fast service, restaurant was very homey and clean. Ohhh the pizza... it was cooked perfectly with a rich balance of flavours and lots of toppings. Will come again next time i holiday this way!

The food, the atmosphere, and the staff made my experience at Rustico unforgettable! We got the eggplant parmigiana and two pizzas, Rustico and italiana…it was LOVE at FIRST BITE! They even paired it perfectly with a delicious red wine. Without a doubt the best experience, the best pizza, and the best staff ever <3 they truly brought Italy to Katoomba <333
