Silly Solly's Mt Druitt

Purchased yesterday many products all out of date! Not by a little but mid last year ate some and felt sick checked the dates and was really angry! Tried to return the items they said no refunds and that they are allowed to sell out of date stock but this is actually a lie it is highly illegal in NSW to sell out of date products. I will never shop here again and will make sure none of my family or friends shop here either! Management is disgraceful honestly there will be a law suit with this company very soon you can’t cheat people out of their money and also make them ill next time could be fatal!!!! Do not buy any of the food from here it’s literally all out of date by allot!!!! Check out NSW law for out of date products silly sollys manager said that they are alloud to sell Prius’s out of date by allot that’s a lie. Also reject shop is allot cheaper and they never stock out of date products plus they have a return policy

This place has the most random things that can be very useful from food and drinks to arts and crafts. Prices all under $5 and nicely spread out and tidy. Only problem is $5 on many items adds up very quickly cause of soany bargains. Love this place!

Bargains galore in this place. Products are frequently a quarter the price you might find elsewhere!I have witnessed staff deal rather well with customers who left much to be desired on more than one occasion.Times are tough for everyone including local businesses. Alittle patience, understanding, and empathy can go a very long way toward getting the quality service you desire.

Love this store, it's a one stop shop for all your household needs. Whether it be cleaning, or general stock up on snacks! Can't beat their prices. I find myself going instore needing to buy 1 thing only, but leave with a basket full! Haha too hard not to with their low prices.

Not very happy with the service that I received today. All of the cashiers are nice except the manager who call herself as a manager of the store. While we were waiting to pay for our items (only one customer Infront of us)she is standing at one of the counter and ringing the bell to say that she is waiting for the next customer to serve. So we went to her counter and while we r waiting for her to scan our items she said I am a manager I am not a cashier. In the first place if she is not prepared to serve the customer why is she lingering at the counter doing nothing and making the buyer to be confused. Who care whether she is a manager or a cashier as long as she is working there. She told us to line up again as a last customers where there are five or more customers Infront of us. Is that how we receive customer service from the manager who suppose to provide good customer service to the buyer?? Will not be going there again due to very poor /very bad customer service of the manager of the store.

They were selling monster cans for $2 each, I was like hang on that's a bit too cheap so I check the use-by date and they were out of date by over 2 months! it's literally illegal to sell food/drink that's expired, let alone by that long.. absolute joke. Oh and the staff all looked like they hated their life and didn't wanna be there. I'm never going back.

Good items are well laid out. Ample parking available.

They have new additions every month depending on the occasions like Halloween, Christmas, new year, back to school etc,They bring in varieties of snacks to choose fromAffordable and quality products

I would give zero or minus Stars if there was an option for me to do so.I used to go to Mt Druitt Silly Solly and bought a lot of stuffs as I am one of their loyal customer. I have even recommended most of my friends and family to shop there too. However, I will never set foot in Silly Solly again after what have happened to me in Mt Druitt store tonight around 6pm.The store was nearly empty around 6pm when I visited tonight, I could only see one or two customers in the store looking around. There were four female staffs I could see in the store at that time. One young girl was refilling the stocks near the store entrance area by herself. The other three were standing around the counter and chatting happily, they were all wearing the same black uniforms, one of the older lady was standing outside the counter and two younger girls were standing behind the counter. my encounter quickly turned sour. Confusing the lady who standing outside the counter for an employee, I approached them with a friendly greeting, only to be met with a disdainful look and a sharp rebuke from that lady who standing outside the counter saying that she wasn’t the staff. I was apologising profusely, when I attempted to join the queue behind her, she made unfounded accusations and insisted on a large distance between us. Perplexed, I explained that I had assumed the other staff member at the counter would assist me since there were no other customers. That two girls in the counter were laughing and feeling amused by what was happening in front of them. None of them were planning to stepping in and serve me at the other two free registers. Seeking clarification from the girl who was free in the counter at the time, hoping she would serve me. To my dismay, she responded arrogantly, stating that she was waiting for a customer who needed a refund, despite the absence of any others.I glanced around the store, but there was not a single customer in sight was approaching the counter for next a few mins. Despite the availability of a third register, the unhelpful staff member made it clear she had no intention of assisting me. I was quite upset from their unbelievable customer service, so I left the store and didn’t buy anything.Throughout this ordeal, I felt a strong sense of discrimination aimed at me as an Asian customer. The staff at the counter, along with the arrogant and snobby lady who stated she wasn’t the staff, treated me without any respect. The staffs have no willingness to provide proper customer service.I am deeply disappointed by the terrible treatment I received at Mt Druitt Silly Solly tonight. Their lack of professionalism, discrimination, and disregard for customer satisfaction have ensured that I will never set foot in Silly Solly again.

So rude. The customer service is atrocious. Not helpful at all and instead they misguide customers. I bought sone things and asked the counter if i would be able to return them later, and they said you can exchange them. Two days later I cone to exchange them and they say 'no we cant help you'. And with such a demeaning manner. Ruined my entire day. If these grumpy employees dont want to work they should quit. That would be better than being awful and condescending to customers.
