Very nice view of a lovely expanse of water. Very tranquil. Clean and well-cared-for facilities. Unfortunately, we had our lovely, quiet dog with us who was on a leash but there were signs everywhere saying NO dogs!" That was disappointing."

Has not overflowed in over 26 years, but it's sensational to see after all the Winter Rain Perth has had this engineering masterpiece is looking the fullest it's been for years and years. Beautiful place for a bush walk and to see and cross the Dam wall. The Pub is also close by and a great place for a beer as well.

If you're a visitor to Perth and you've got a car with a full tank, then you should mosey your way to Mundaring and spend a few hours here even if you're just passing by. The drive to Mundaring to the East Perth is sickeningly pleasant bar the weather, and it's one of the most underrated body of water to visit in town that is not a river or the beach. Make sure you lock the car door though, as it can be eerily quiet. Watch out for drop bears.
