We recently purchased solid front and back doors and screens, and we are beyond happy with the service, attention to detail and quality!With an older home, additional time was needed for the fit. Called into Star Doors recently and met with Paul, with whom we were very impressed. We arranged for a free measure and quote for a glass backdoor unit with security screen door. Paul was very helpful and quote wascheaper than competitors for a quality made to fit door unit. They were also able to match paint work with our new verandah.We are thrilled with the result. I found Star Doors on Google and emailed them and received a response the same day on a Saturday and quote was done the same day. Went ahead with the quote and asked for doors to be replaced throughout our apartment plus screen doors. Have to say, a brilliant job done. Lyndon is awesome, and his workers (shout out to Ross and Paul) are fantastic. A great job done and thoroughly recommend. Very much a case of proving you get what you paid for in the most positive way possible.

We visited Star Doors in late 2020 to get quotes for security doors, window security screens and roller shutters for our new house that was being built at Strathalbyn.We dealt with Lyndon and he provided us with first class customer service from the very beginning right through to the end. He was always quick in getting back to us whenever we had questions or needed more information. He emailed us an itemised quote for the security doors (including a fitted Petway® pet door), window security screens and roller shutters, all in the requested colours to match the rest of our house. The price of the Star Doors quote was very competitive compared to other well-known Adelaide companies who were NOT able to provide us with exactly the right colours and were NOT able to include a pet door as we requested.About 12 months later when the house was finally finished being built and when we were ready for everything to be installed, Star Doors honoured their quote without any problem. They came and did a measure of all the doors and windows and then began the manufacturing process. Two or three weeks later, the installers contacted us and arraigned to come and do the installations at times that were convenient to us. They arrived punctually and did the installations without any fuss or complications.The installers who did the roller shutters, Brian & his assistant Jess, worked over three long hot summer days installing 11 roller shutters, travelling down to Strathalbyn each day. We were impressed by Brian’s attention to detail and how he went out of his way to make sure everything was perfect. They continuously cleaned up any mess on both the outside and inside as they moved from one window to the next.The finished doors, window security screens and roller shutters are of excellent quality. It is now 5 months later and we are still very happy with the quality of the products and the workmanship of the installations.I cannot recommend Star Doors, Lyndon and Brian highly enough! If we ever need doors or roller shutters in the future, we would go straight to Star Doors at Edwardstown. They are simply the best!Rated AAA+++

There is only one place in Adelaide to go for all your doors. Star Doors.New front door and security screen fitted. The builder of my house used the cheapest doors so called Star Doors to replace. The second picture shows the door against the neighbour original cheap door, which was slowly bowing out of shape.

Highly professional staff, from quoting stage (itemised prices, and easy to read options), through to booking the installation and completing the job.The team were very thorough and wanted to ensure a high quality job - both the actual door as well as the installation process. Given that their pricing was very competitive, I felt like I was getting a premium product at a regular rate.We found a slight wind issue with the door after installation (only noticeable because of strong winds last week), and the team responded immediately, and found a fix.Also, the actual door looks brilliant (changed from double front doors to a 1.2m wide single door with frosted glass panes on either side. It has lifted the look of the entire frontage of our home.

Rang on Wednesday January 4th....salesman said he was with a customer and that he would call back. He didn't. I rang again Thursday and reminded him. We made an appointment for 3.30-4pm Friday. I made sure to be home by 2.30 in case he came early. It's now 5.30pm no salesman and no phone call to apologise.Needless to say we won't spend our money with this company!

I called into their factory / showroom and was greeted in a warm & friendly manner by someone who know what he was talking about, I was impressed how clean & tidy the place was.Star Doors did a measure up and we placed the order for two doors,W received an E Mail stating that production had commenced and they will keep us informed as the process continues.Soon received another E Mail to say that production was completed and could we arrange a time to install.Shane the installer was just a champion with a good attitude. As Shane went about his work, he continually cleaned up any mess made.These people are professional and good people to deal with. I think in the real world if you want to go for the long haul and succeed, then you better be competent and honest in your dealings.My experience is that Stars Doors are good ones to deal with and manufacture good products.Nick

Lyndon and his crew solved two significant problems for us.Firstly, after a disastrous and vastly overpriced/quote experience with a large well known local company , Nathan was able to source the same solid timber doors for us, from the same interstate manufacturer ( who actually recommended star doors to us) and install it for a significantly lower price,Secondly he managed to have replacement sliding doors. with significantly upgraded security mesh screens, made up for our 1990's aluminum sliding doors. These powder coated replacement units for old flimsy fly-screens were able to both fit into the very tiny slide slot AND also be robust enough to cope with cattle dogs. a fantastic result.His communication was excellent for both jobs.His after-sales advice and service in the year since then has also been greatly appreciatedhighly recommended AAA+++
