Why would there be unlimited power on site but have a short timer in the amenities that plunge you into darkness half way through a shower?Why would there be unlimited water on site but have showers on a 5 minute timer in the amenities?Why start a new section of the park when the old section needs serious work to bring it up to a just average standard?How on earth did this park get endorsement by BIG 4?Note to owner: No need to answer, I’ve read your previous answers and the work is still not done. Not recommended to stay here.

Caravan stay Appears new owners since last visit.Some improvements made but still a fair bit work. They have opened up another area for caravans but has a portable toilet block that is not sufficient for number of caravans in that area. ( hopefully they will build a new toilet block) The other shower and toilet block are in old part of park. Male and female shower block needs updating on this part, like replacing broken and missing clothing hooks etc. Again probably need to build another ablution block considering number of people using it. Good size swimming pool, kids play ground , dog wash area. You can purchase fresh water for your van (two locations in park) There is a kind of shaded area ( old part of park) for caravans if needed. Sites gravel and level with no water but power. Sites very spacious in old part of park smaller in new part. One Good spacious camp kitchen/ TV lounge ( old part of park) two BBQ ( weren’t working when we were there) in camp kitchen area. Laundry, Free WiFi, Good TV reception. Water saving devices in showers (press button for 5 minutes water) Ablution area ( old part didn’t check new part) clean. Good hot water but fair pressure. Staff helpful and a very quick check in. Some nights you can order pizza for tea( check with office staff ) Dump point available ( bit high on the nose when we were there) The park is about 1-2 kilometre from town Center.

We stayed at a powered site and it was pretty standard. The utility block at the overflow is great. I like that they had individual bathrooms. They would need more if the park was full.If I return to Coober Pedy I will stay there again.

Nice motel rooms, parking close to the unit, the second bed" in the motel rooms is a soda bed. The other is a king size bed. Washing machine in the room

Had 2 nights here.Can't fault anything except 1 major thing No water on sites".I've had good communication from the park before arrival but "No water on sites" was never mentioned. There is fill up stations in the Park at a cost but would have been good to know to fill up "before" setting up."

Very friendly staff as we arrived, had a good chat while checking in. The amenities are very clean. Very happy with our 2 night stay. Highly recommend this park to anyone staying at Coober Pedy.

Stay was okay though we didn't quite get what was advertised. Layout of accommodation was strange. Couldn't close bathroom door while showering as door handle on the sliding door obstructs shower cubicle door. Couldn't access half of dining table. Pool is nice.

Really liked our overnight camping stay here. Lovely staff, really clean park. Spotless facilities, wonderful pool. Really quiet, had a great sleep....brilliant and a great price too.

Caravan Park new section $52 per night,,, red dirt, dusty when dry and mudy when wet. The place is so open that the wind rocks the van most of the time.Toilet block a portable building, very tight one has to sit on the toilet to undress for showering, no benches just one hook for clothing. Internet most of the time not working. would I recommend this place,NO.

We arrived at the park with a smashed vent cover after an unfortunate incident with an eagle on the way from Alice, meaning that if it rained, we would have water coming straight in through the roof.This was on Sunday, over the June long weekend, so nothing was open.Can't thank Jodie and Graham enough for their help.After assessing the problem, Graham disappeared into his workshop, returning with a piece of wood which he had cut to size, and along with a role of gaffer tape, patched up the hole, which got us all the way back to Adelaide with no issues.We booked a powered site for the night which had plenty of room for our motorhome, and i found the facilities to be excellent.Shower and toilets were clean, and although we didn't use it, the camp kitchen also looked well maintained with everything you would need.Highly recommend and will certainly return next time we are passing through.
