Used to love having a good cheap lunch here Now I'm left wondering whose idea it was to change everything and charge like a wounded bull for a meal At around $80 for two and that doesn't include drinks, I know I'm not the only one giving it a miss Time for a rethink Club Forbes I've never seen the Bistro so empty

Friendly staff, and homely atmosphere. The food is very tasty, well portioned and reasonably priced. We enjoyed our lunch here.

Stopped for a quick coffee on a Sunday. 25 minutes for two coffees and two biscuits. Coffee and tea was ok. I know it's a club but wanted people to be aware very slow.

No gluten free options so I was forced to order loaded chips. They came lukewarm and had cold, yes cold, bacon pieces sprinkled over it. I took it back and the cook said that’s the way it’s served????????The person I was with also had a lukewarm piece of fish and the chips were also lukewarm.I would not go back there.

When visiting from Queensland we stop into the club to have a meal. Always great food, friendly staff and great atmosphere.Unfortunately due to move interstate we are no longer members of the club, but that doesn't stop us from visiting.

fine establishment, nice lounges , lighting. Relaxing place to go after a long day at work.My steak was excellent & the bar staff are very friendly & outgoing.The whole town of Forbes is very well maintained & scenic... Christmas decorations are up already here the councils done a good job here. Flood affected at times as it was on this visit with work. We found a stranded kangaroo.
