Staff have 0 communication skills and are just plain rude.Went here 3 times to try and donate some teddies all in good condition.First time was told their truck had broken down and they can only take clothes, so I decided to come back a week after as the girl who worked there asked me to do, on my only day off in the week. Pulled just past 9 am as I didn’t know they opened at 10 and a lady immediately walked up to my car to tell me they don’t open till 10 but the way she said it was in the most annoyed sounding, condescending manner acting as if I just committed a criminal offence by arriving early. So I spend some time in nearby shops and returned at 10 am to then be told, sorry we only take clothes today. I explained it would have been nice if someone had told me that an hour earlier as I just wasted a heap of time, he cut me off mid sentence several times and said this is why they encourage people to call up before they come. No one ever mentioned this to me the week prior..I decided to never go to this particular store to donate anything again, went to the one in Narre instead on the same day and was greeted with a hello for a change which was nice and had absolutely no problems leaving my bag of teddies. Also no one answers the phone in Cranbourne when you try to call so anyone thinking about donating anything to this store do yourselves a favour and go somewhere else.

I regularly donated to this store and always went to the back of the building to leave goods. Last visit a gentleman came to the boot of my car and I asked if he wanted to see what I had to donate. He replied “Of course, we don’t want your JUNK”. Maybe the rude staff need to be trained in customer service. In future I will be taking my donations elsewhere.

I used to love comming to this op shop but recently the staff have been so rude! Making fun of customers while serving me and even swearing at each other while kids are in earshot. Today the girl behind the counter scanned my clothing item and literally threw it back towards me!!

It's huge and nice to browse in, that said, I've never found much that I wanted in this store. The changerooms are far too small, badly lit and the red door doesn't help at all. The layout is good and there's always plenty of parking space.

It’s gotten way too expensive here. The staff are also really rude for no reason. But I’m not paying $15 for an old cottonon dress with a stain. Or a $150 plate set.

UPDATE! I went in to look for a set of drawers yesterday only to find 1 set of drawers full of mouse droppings. I WILL NOT BE RETURNING TO THIS STORE.Good range but so much is overpriced, especially the furniture. Their is less and less stock each time I go on. Some of it you can buy brand new cheaper than what they are selling it for.

I normally enjoy coming to this op shop. I rock up bright and early to do a shop and donate a small garage bag full of clothes. One of the ladies angrily told me I have to take them around the back. I asked her if this shop has the donation bins as most other salvos stores do and she got quite angry and said “NO! Give me your bag I’ll take it this time but the next time I want to see you donating it round the back!” Honestly has turned me off coming back to this shop again! Very disappointed!Further more, I quite often get turned away from donating - the staff are right at me before I even get out of my car to drop donations off. I went in store yesterday and the staff member who served me I asked her “are you guys currently taking donations of kids toys, books & adults and kids clothing? As I’ve been turned away quite a few times.” Her response was “yes, you’ll only get turned away later in the afternoon - come first thing in the morning and you should be right.” I called up first thing and again asked as the donations were just piling up! I again asked, “are you guys taking donations of kids toys, books, adults and children’s clothing?” First I was told “no” then I heard someone yell out “yes we are taking donations!” So I once again confirmed that I’ll be there in about 10 minutes! I get there, staff watched me unload my car of shopping bag, after shopping bag full of donations. A male makes his appearance and says “something I can help you with?” I said “oh I’m just here to drop off my donations, I called up about 10 minutes go and whoever I spoke to said it was fine?” I then got a full blown lecture about how we can’t accept kids toys due to OHS - but yet they sell kids toys in store - go figure huh? Anyway he told me not to bother about donating toys again but they’d happily accept my clothing!Salvos Cranbourne, get your act together!

After today's experience, I'll never go back to this store or any salvos shop! The staff were incredibly rude, not helpful and lack empathy. It was raining and the way the staff handled the leaking roof was a hazard and dangerous! I'm positive it was a breach of OH&S standards.

Just dropped off some donations, the people were quite rude and went through everything and spoke to us like we were children, and then didn't thank us for the donations. Very rude and ungrateful.
