Been a long time since ive stepped foot into an old style milkbar, took me back to my childhood days from when i pa owned his milkbar. Great service, great hamburgers, fried food, salads, good selection of cold drinks, always happy to see and serve you. Good local people and also i love the fact that they do a few different roast meats along with veg thoughout the weekdays for the elderly and they can come in and have some lunch. Good to see people making sure the elderly get looked after! 5 out of 5

Great little cafe that has awesome 'real' food. Big range available and off the main road. Also has an old school mixed lollie bar. Outside and inside seating available. Lovely friendly staff.

Passing through Beaufort towards Melbourne looking for lunch but couldn’t find a parking spot in the Main Street.I turned left into the side road at the traffic lights and found myself at Godfrey’s Milk Bar & Cafe. I’d never been to this shop before so decided to give it a look in.The food requirements were fairly basic - chips and dim sims. But these were cooked fresh. These would be in the top five of chips and dim sims I’ve ever had.This little shop also seems very popular with the the local tradies and they obviously keep coming back as the proprietor and customers were on first name terms.I would certainly give this shop high consideration next trip through Beaufort.

I haven't had a hamburger like this for ages. Nice people and great food. It's of the main road but definately worth looking for.See you next time
