It's a cultural experience. The generations of kids and parents, catching squid from the end of the jetty, long summer days and nights. Jumping off into the cool water. Remember?

Quite a good view of Mount Wellington in the distance and coastline east to north of the channel. It is worth the trip, best on a sunny day.
