Brilliant weekend in Tumut. Such a great place to stay. Every small detail made us feel at home!

Wendy and Peter have an amazing property - central, quiet location, beautifully appointed, immaculate condition with many thoughtful inclusions to make your stay a home away from home.

The Monarch Tumut was a wonderful place to stay for our family. We had 8 people and we all fit easily in the beds provided. There is also a large comfy corner lounge so you could definitely fit two more people on there if needed. From the outside it looks like a modest old style home but when you go inside it's an amazing story of modern design mixed with country tones. The highlight is the huge skylight which spans the entire living/kitchen/dining area and provides some great views of the stars at night. Plenty of parking, two well appointed bathrooms and a nice outdoor area are also a welcome addition. To top it all off, the house is situated at the end of the main street with easy access to the shops, pubs, park and river.

Perfect place to stay. We will definitely be back.

We've stayed at many lovely holiday houses but none more lovely or better equipped than The Monarch. While the kitchen/living area is the defining feature of the house, the bathroom and ensuite are lovely and the bedrooms very comfortable. And Wendy's attention to detail is exceptional, even supplying hooded towels for the two toddlers we had with us. Thank you again, Wendy. Julie and Michael

We stayed here with my family of 3 generations in August 2022 . Great location, easy walk to town, parks and river. The Monarch is a beautiful home, immaculately kept, super clean, spacious yet very cosy with a lovely log fire. The kitchen is very well equipped for whatever you feel like cooking with a couple of beautiful cookbooks to inspire any guest. The home is filled with natural light and beautiful decor. The attention to detail is outstanding….. we have stayed at numerous holiday homes, but this has been the best. We feel the owners, Wendy and Peter love this home and it shows!!!

Such a magical place. Wendy and Peter have everything thought of from the beautiful furnishings, to the amazing scents and most of all the loving, relaxed and welcoming atmosphere. Thank you for your caring and heartfelt approach to our family memorial catch-up. We are truly blessed to find such amazing place. We will be back and thank you again.

This is the second time we have stayed at the Monarch, it’s a magnificent house for a group of 6-8 in a great country town, Wendy is very prompt with any enquires. Highly recommend.
