HOW IS THIS PLACE STILL IN BUSINESS?? I have numerous friends and family that have bought from this store and have had nothing but trouble. Furniture delivered with scratches and dents and no accountability from the owner Renato.I personally was gifted a coffee table that was delivered with a big chip in the marble and my family member that gifted it to me received no response after trying to contact the store via call, text and email many times.I’m not one to write negative reviews but through chatting with many other customers that have had the same experience, I feel a need to warn others. Please spend your money elsewhere!

No stars! Click under name for photosI bought 2 Marble tables from Daqua. Deni was helpful & promised 2 new tables from the factory in wooden crates with fragile package protection.I met the Delivery driver on my street (Daniel has since informed me this is his business partner?). I was shocked to see a 4WD Lexus and not a delivery truck. The tables were sitting in the boot in no packaging with no cushioning. As he was parked illegally and appeared in a rush, I assisted in getting the tables inside. Before I could inspect the items, he left without having me sign for them or leave a packing slip.Both tables were damaged with significant chips in the marble, poor quality joining and scuffs in various places. I attempted to call the store owner (Daniel Ng) 3 times with no success. I followed up with an email and supporting photos. Daniel never replied.After finally getting a hold of him, Daniel explained that I had paid too much for the items and should have paid $100 less. He said he could give me a small discount for the damage or offer a replacement that would take in excess of 12 weeks. He explained that there was no guarantee that there wouldn’t be damage on the replacements as it was “imperfections”. I explained that I wanted a refund as I had bought the items with the promise that they would be of quality Portuguese marble and in pristine condition. He refused a refund and ended the conversation.I inspected the tables further and noticed a chip on the surface of one filled with silicon in an attempt to cover it & a large crack on the other.I tried to resolve the matter in -store but was hurried away as Daniel wasn’t available. Daniel’s business partner said to bring the tables back as they could “sell them at full price!”.I called Daniel again for a refund on tables + delivery as the items were not as described, had poor craftsmanship, are damaged and were not delivered as promised. He became aggressive and accused me of making further damage to the tables myself, stating that there was no damage! Daniel insisted that I was causing drama and that I should “turn the tables around” so that the damage was hidden. He called me disrespectful as he had given me “first class service” delivering in the back of a “Mercedes”. #lexusHe then claimed the tables were on sale due to the damage and that I got a good deal. This was not the case. There was a store-wide promotion and the items were delivered new from the factory. They were not floor stock and there was no signage to state that they were clearance. I stated my consumer rights and that I am entitled to the option of a refund as there is major damage. He told me to “go to VCAT!” as I wouldn’t get a refund from him! Daniel abruptly finished the conversation.My dad called on my behalf as Daniel had become quite aggressive towards me in our last conversation. My father called and re-stated that I would be in to resolve the matter. Daniel continued to yell over the top of my father and wouldn’t allow him to speak, stating that I was not entitled to a refund. Daniel accused my father of harassing the store and threatening his life. (My father remained calm we recorded the convo).I received a very threatening email from Daniel stating that I was “harassing” him & accused me of committing a “criminal felony”. He threatened a restraining order and claimed he had reported me to the police. Not sure if he meant the U.S police, as all legal terms mentioned in the email are American.Daniel has refused to deal with a problem that he has created. As you can see from the photo evidence, this is existing damage and poor craftsmanship. No doubt Daniel will have a response to this review with more lies as it seems to be his defense mechanism. He has been reported and is already being chased for money owed by another VCAT case he has lost. He is not to be trusted and does not take responsibility for his cheap products, probably purchased from the back of a dodgy warehouse. I have also cleared" my name with the police as the report he claims is false."

I walked in one day as I saw Warren Platner dining chairs which were obviously copies. I explained that I had the authentic dining chairs at home which I bought from De De Ce and he started challenging asking me how I knew they were authentic and why would I pay that much for chairs. He was so rude and I found it outrageous that he was blatantly copying them in China and calling them Warren Platner design. He is a fraud...he didn't even know of the store De De Ce, so much for his interior design expertise and competition.

Bought two bedside table which was customised which I am very satisfied with. You'll be able to find very exotic designs here and highly recommended if you want something unique and customised. Customer service here is also very good and they are willing to listen to any special needs you want.

Daqua Interiors - Como Centre
Best Experience, Great Products and Amazing Design Detail.We recently moved to Sydney from North America. We were looking to elevate, edit and enhance our new flat. We randomly walked into Daqua in Melbourne and liked many of the accent pieces and items. We couldn’t find a similar store or aesthetic in Sydney. Since we were struggling to complete our place, I wrote to Daqua and Daniel Ng immediately understood our design challenge. He sourced everything - dining table, chairs, rugs, living room side chairs, entertainment console, bedroom dresser, side tables, accent pieces, outdoor furniture, plants, planters, bar cart, artwork. Much of what he selected was not in the store showroom, but available to Daqua or in their other store(s). Daniel worked tirelessly on our behalf and was always accessible.The end result is fabulous.The project came in under budget, on time and we couldn’t be happier. By the way, this entire project was done remotely over video.If I could give more stars to Daqua and Daniel, I would!
