Local treasure! Amazing and tasty old school, homemade treats with such reasonable pricing. Love the donuts, lamingtons and apple turnovers. Owner is so lovely and courteous as well

Each time we are in the Botany area its an excuse to pop into this tiny unassuming bakery. Service is always kind and friendly and each different pie is yum. Nothing fancy just a yummy, hot, tasty pie. Just a tip, don't try the pastie, not as good as the pies. We ordered the breakfast pie and the curry beef pie this time, always good.

So sad to hear that you might be closing, I came here as a child weekly with my father and absolutely loved your caramel tarts & sausage rolls :(

April 2023:Such an inviting old-school bakery with super fresh and delicious pastries, cakes and pies. We had the Ned Kelly (steak, cheese, egg, bacon) pie and the curry pie - both tasty and only $4.50 each. The apple turnover ($2.50) was warm and fresh out of the oven, made of beautiful, crispy, flaky homemade pastry and generously filled with apples. The strawberry doughnut was fresh, fluffy, moist and only 50c!June 2023:- Mud cake slice - decadent, moist chocolate cake encased in a layer of chocolate drizzle.- Sausage roll - nice flaky pastry and good flavour in the meat, hits the spot.- Pear and almond tart - unexpectedly delicious. A biscuit base, cooked pear cubes and a thick, subtly almondy cookie-esque buttery, melt-in-your-mouth shortcrust topping.- Coconut slice - dense and coconutty - if you're Cantonese and know cocktail buns (雞尾包) it tastes just like the filling of those. Not too sweet. With a biscuit base like that of cheesecake.$11 altogether for the 4 items feels way too cheap!- Lamington - the sponge is THE lightest and airiest vanilla sponge ever, and the moist chocolate coconut outside seals in all the moisture - just delightful- Cinnamon doughnut - fluffy with a light chew- Apple slice - like an apple pie, chock-a-block with apples, not too sweet, yummy shortcrust

Now this is a good old fashioned cake and pie store.Real friendly bunch working there, and the variety and prices are good by today’s standards.Got a beef curry pie and it was spot on. Really good.

We have been going to Wilson’s for years!! Best cake selections around … favourite is the custard puff. Always friendly service and a smile. We have ordered birthday cakes and have always been very happy with each one. Donuts are great too, everything so fresh!! Pineapple tarts are delicious, great with a cuppa. Vanilla slices a huge, so leave yourself room for these after lunch/dinner.

Wilsons Bakery has been there for years and always produce great fresh products from daily treats to birthday & party needs, and very affordable price! Here's one of my kid's birthday cakes and cupcakes pic, two kids, two different themes and Wilsons Bakery Mascot always able to make what I requested. My kids love their cupcakes & cake as it taste just like grandma make it" (their words) Also their cinnamon Donuts

Wilson's Bakery is just amazing. Worth 10 stars, not 5. Outstanding value for money, fantastic service and the cakes (especially the mud cakes) & pies are to die for. You have to try this placing you haven't already.

There is not many cake shops left where you can get yummy amazing affordable old school cakes left in Sydney. I strongly recommend Wilson’s!
