Really enjoyed staying here. Scenic views from the balconies of the nightcap rooms with ducks and cockatoos providing the entertainment. The pub/restaurant has a sports section, ample outdoor seating, reasonable beer prices and great food. Bonus live entertainment on a Sunday afternoon in the covered outdoor area. The swimming pool is next to the pub/restaurant outdoor seating area and access card entry for nightcap guests. Plenty of parking and staff very pleasant and helpful. Will definitely be back for another stay.

Had an amazing dining experience at York on Lilydale. Their chicken Parma was absolutely delicious, with tender chicken, flavorful toppings, and a perfectly crispy crust. The wait staff was friendly, attentive, and made us feel truly valued. The cozy atmosphere and reasonable prices added to the overall appeal. I highly recommend this place for an incredible Parma and excellent service

Hosted an event for our clients here and Bec the events coordinator has made the process so easy and she has made the session so much better.She was prompt in getting back to us and answered all our questions having not hosted events since 2020.Highly recommend!

Never book a large group here. I booked for my sons first birthday for the bistro and confirmed via phone the number required. when we got there they had no reservation and put us in the pub area (York collective) that doesn’t cater for kids or elderly seating or meals and no playground. They stuffed up our booking and all they did was apologise. Ended up leaving and not eating there. The lack of willingness to accomodate us after their mistake was poor

Surprisingly very good. Rooms are clean and I’d love this bathroom in my house. Rooms quiet and couldn’t hear other people or doors slamming. Slept until 8am before we heard any noise. Back sliding doors with big screens open onto grass parkland area that could be left open all night or you could run the air conditioning or heating that seems silent. Really surprised given it has zero street appeal.The pool is excellent for kids and there is a bistro and a totally separate what seems a new bar and outdoor area. If I lived local I’d probably come here if a weekend it was that good.

Had dinner for 7 people there at the bistro on the 7th of June for my daughter's 18th. Food was lovely, reasonable and quick and our table on the corner was quite private. Only negative point was the bartender did not know how to make hot drinks ....sorry the hot chocolates X 3 were terrible.

Fantastic meal and great service. Initially I was torn between the fisherman's basket and the lamb roast and veg but I decided on the graziers beef pot pie and mash. OMG. The pastry was crunchy and flaky as it should be, and the tender chunks of beef in a rich smooth tasty gravy were so so good. The meal sizes are huge even in the small portions. And really good value. I'd go back just for the meal - and it's an hour and a half drive for me. It was that good.Staff were friendly and helpful with table service of meals.And beautiful mountain setting.I'd been on my first MGCC club run in Mighty Goodlooking with the touring register - great people, great drive and great time.

We had booked 19 rooms as we had a wedding, the customer service leading up to the stay was fantastic and the food at the sports bar tasted really good. The only problem we had was we got a cleaning bill due to glitter on the floor (from the wedding dress), we understand that there was a bit of mud through the room as we had a lot of our guests in our room the night of the wedding and there is no door mat between outside and in the room, but besides that the stay was great and I would still recommend it.

Food is not great. Parma was really bland, sauce straight out of the bottle. Nothing seasoned. Slaw was mixed with mayo and was not good.Younger fella at the bar seemed put out by customers.

It's a great venue with great staff. $80 for 3 meals (1 was kids menu) Chips tasted like they were cooked at lunchtime and served for dinner.Main meals were just ok.
