Shares plates is good idea in my book because that allow us to sample a broad selection of dishes. A lot of dishes here are designed to be shared.The ambiance of this restaurant is modern and clean. Lots of hard surfaces which is fine when the restaurant is not busy but it does create a loud background buzz when the space begins to fill.Food wise, it is a hit and miss. The presentation is generally good and it is obvious that some thoughts have been given to it. Taste and style is more uneven. Some dishes are great while others are more pedestrian. Roasted cauliflower is a highlight. The calamari and the barramundi are the standout seafood. The steak is solid but the pork chop is dry and tasteless. The lamb was flavourful but a bit tough. Desserts are cute and tasty.This means you have to be more careful with your order because of their price point. If you pick from the subset of good dishes then it is a reasonable proposition. However, if you really want to share as many dishes as possible between a table of 4 then expect to hit a few low notes.

The food was very tasty! Went there with a group of friends so being able to try some dishes. Surprisingly, they are really good. Highly reco for rock oyster with salmon roe ponzu for entree. Must order fried cauliflower salad. So yummmThe beef ribs are juicy and tender. The tapioca root/casava is a nice experiment. Pretty cool and worth the try.Didnt have chance to test much on drink menu though. Pity

Interesting menu and Food was hit and miss. Nice ambience but high prices and small portions. The foccacia, scallop and fish was tasty. The tuna cone, steak and lamb were ok. Expensive for what you get

Good food but nothing to be blown away by. The duck main and the fish main were better than the beef main. Service was ok as the restaurant only had one front staff and was serving 10 tables. Food came quickly despite service delays. Not convinced that this is value as I’ve been to similarly priced restaurants with better food and service.

Lovely well priced flashy looking food. Fun ideas and nice staff. Pork was perfectly cooked. Epic presentation. Someone definitely takes pride in their work.

The food itself is tasty, i enjoyed it.However, I wouldn’t recommend the set menu. The way they present the set menu is cheating, “5 course” is just a tiny portion of each. The main dish is only a shred dish sized for one person actually.

Having passed Henry's a number of times we finally booked and we were not disappointed. The house made Focaccia, crispy prawn tacos, crushed potato and fried cauliflower were absolutely delicious. The service is efficient and attentive but not intrusive. We'll certainly be returning.

This was an amazing experience and I would highly recommend it. We had their set menu and everything was delicious. I was so full at the end of it! The service was impeccable and attentive. It was definitely one of the best dining spots in Sydney.
