Amazing salon with excellent staff who are also friendly. Had the best cut and colour and a mini makeover my friends started to ask where I got it done. Without a doubt the best salon in Penrith!

Recently I visited Esteem after just moving to the area and have been impressed by the atmosphere, good vibes and friendly service. It is no surprise that Allison and her team have been in the industry for so long, she is patient and very easy to talk to and happy to give advice on right product to buy. I was welcomed by professional and friendly staff when I walked in and noticed the salon was immaculate. Allison and the team are so lovely, very experienced and made me feel comfortable. I would highly recommend this amazing salon. I am already looking forward to going back.

I had a bit of a fancy do to attend & as I always get my eyelash extensions done with Tamara & love how much she understands me & listens to what I want, I decided to try her for makeup & then for convenience get my hair done in the same spot. I ordered curls but they were able to get the desired effect I wanted with a wash & blowdry so it was less expensive for me by the time I wrapped up.I felt like a million squillion bucks & was complimented on my hair & makeup all night. Tamara & my hair stylist listened to what I wanted every step of the way & I was just soooo happy with both services! So much so that two days later, I’m still trying to preserve my do to be cute for just a little longer!

Ridiculous price increaseI had foils and a style haircut on 10 December 2022.The hair colour was fantastic and I was happy with the cut.Before starting the styling I was informed that prices have gone up and if I wanted a quote.I declined. Big mistake!!!!For 3 quarter head of foils and style hair cut I paid $353 (no other treatment).For full head foils and style hair cut on 4 May 2022, I paid $212 (no other treatment).I did not anticipate an increase of $141. This is almost an increase of 67%.I am aware everything is getting more expensive but I thought this was a bit excessive.When paying I expressed my surprise at the charge.The response by stylist and management was that is was not just a haircut, that it was a style haircut.I had a style hair on both occasions and was not satisfied with their explanation.I was extremely upset about it.I will not return again.This is absolutely no reflection on the staff member that did the colouring and styling.She did a fantastic job.

Ridiculously overpriced. I had a full Brazilian today and was charged $65. I was told this over the phone when I booked. However there was barely anything there as I have been having Brazilians for a very long time. I was booked in for 3pm and asked to arrive 15 mins before. I arrived at 2:45pm and left at 3pm. Literally $65 for a 10 minute wax. They need to have a grading system as clearly mine didn't take the 30 mins they tell you at time of booking

The team at Esteem hair beauty and spa were amazing! I can’t come do them enough.I went in with dulled hair and come out feeling beautiful! They listened and delivered 200%!I was constantly checked on, checked if I needed anything and made to feel comfortable!Booked my next appointment before leaving. It’s definitely somewhere I’ll be visiting on a regular basis!Keep up the amazing work! X

They charged me $70 for gel lack. When I asked why this price? they replied (with an attitude) didn’t we put your fingers in a bowl of water?! this counts as Manicure.When I asked how much my hair treatment is going to to cost they said $220 but then they charged me $40 extra. Their response on this was that the prices has gone up.They lost 5 clients from my family just because they steal money, even if has been a mistake they don’t apologize and act like you are wrong and don’t understand how it works.

The customer service is very poor. They overbook and overcharge and treat you like you are invisible.Last time I was there they left me sitting in the chair with soaking wet hair for 40 minutes. In that time not one person acknowledged me. I wasn’t told an estimate time. I wasn’t even offered a glass of water at the very least.I was told it was because it was Christmas time. I completely sympathize and understand Christmas would be a busy time, however this is not the first time this has happened to me at this salon. The staff are always run off their feet, whether it’s Christmas time or not. They have way too many clients and are so busy they don’t even have time to be polite. There has been another visit where I was asked if I had somewhere to be after the appointment and I mistakenly said no so they me left in the chair for 30mins. My hair was so wet there was a puddle on the floor behind me. The young girl was then yelled at in front of me for not drying off my hair enough.The director Allison is very rude and combative. She treats her staff so poorly and it makes the entire experience of being at the salon very awkward and uncomfortable. The only times I’ve enjoyed being at that salon is when she hasn’t been there.On another occasion I went in to get my makeup and hair done for a special occasion. The makeup artist ran a long way overtime and as a result she was made to blow dry my hair. She clearly felt flustered and uncomfortable, I don’t think hair was her area of expertise. She was ripping chunks out of my hair and then was yelled at by the director in front of me. I felt so sorry for her.I have given this salon the benefit of the doubt so many times but have finally realized you can get a much better service for half the price at other Penrith salons, and they take half the time too.The beauty services are decent, the lady who waxes my eyebrows is lovely and always quick. But I would not recommend getting your hair done here.

Good, but expensive... They have some high senior stylists working so I get it, and I haven't had a bad haircut before, but sometimes it can cost up to $400 and I just can't afford it... Also the wait times are quite long; last time it took me half an hour to get seated and another half an hour for the cut to actually start.I have also had my eyebrows and makeup done in the past and the artist ignored my requests for natural and did her own thing. I wasn't too happy.Good haircuts, but not my price range.Edit: I initially came across rude, and would like to give a more neutral review :)
