Nice little theatre next to the library in the heart of Bankstown. Busy area bang in middle of city so hard to find parking. Enjoy going to this theatre for functions. Needs updating though eg seats need freshening up.

Bryan Brown Theatre & Function Centre
Visited for a Canterbury Bankstown Council Community grants 2022 ceremony that Sing Australia Ashbury was fortunate enough to receive with their program Singing Helps Seniors program. There were 112 community groups acknowledged with grants on the day. The theatre had a nice atmosphere although some of the steps required a little extra care navigating. Seating was comfortable and spacious. My first time visiting this venture and was impressed at how close to Bankstown railway station and bus transport. There is a lot of working going on around this venue so time will tell how it will look when all the other work is completed. The little Cafe in there was a delight to visit with good customer service.

The experience was astounding. There was many seats that had a great view. The preformances were consistently great. While the lights were a bit faulty and the parking wasn't the best, they were bearable.

20 year old technology. No onstage microphones, visual prompters and visual queuing supports available. Bring your own add-ons as the theatre only has an amplifier, good theatre speakers and a projector.

The venue is beautiful, the foyer is spacious, audio and video system is great, the auditorium is nice and clean, and the staff at the Bryan Brown Theatre & Function Centre were very supportive and professional.Thank you Bryan Brown Theatre & Function Centre Team for your support before and during the premiere of A Realm of Return". Little far from city but auditorium is beautiful. Hanging Mics should be present as at time stand mics dont suit the bill but overall good experience .
