Location of historical gold mine, is now a picnic area under a large shelter with tables and bench seats. Large example of mining machinery, a stamper with buckets to move the ore.

This is a well kept park and display of yesteryear's machinery. It is hard to imagine the toil to get this machinery to this location and setup without the use of our modern day transport system.There are no toilets here, although some are available in town.There is a large covered area suitable for a picnic.

Hill with pleasant scenery in the distance. Historical exhibit in the form of an old gold press. The picnic table area is a massive area with roof.
