Very good food

Very dodgy place. Understandably most places are sold out during good Friday hours and we needed some chicken frames for passover. Anyway, they tried to sell us a box of frozen chicken frames for $40 (we have neither the space for all those frames, nor did we want to spend that much). Sounds very greedy and well they lost money from us, we went to Canings free range butcher (they have lots of locations and open till 5 on good friday) the one in Hawthorn was very friendly and sold us one chicken frame for $2,much better customer service. Suffice to say, we won't ever come here again.EDIT:1. As I clearly stated and which you clearly did not read, we were collecting chicken frames for PASSOVER! My husband is Jewish and I am technically Jewish from my mothers grandmothers side, so don't you dare accuse me of anti-semitism, when as I stated you were clearly trying to rip us off with a HUGE box of frames (which no domestic freezer has the capacity to store) and at that price! It would have gone to waste as we only needed 1-2.2. We are aware you are a deli, but as most butchers were closed due to the easter holiday, we felt to try as many places as possible. How could it be seen as helping us, when we needed 1-2 frames and you are trying to sell us a huge box of frames we don't have the need, the space or the money for?3. As a business, you should be taking on feedback or at least apologising for the poor customer service.I apologise if my original post came across as rude, it was just extremely frustrating.

It is a great place to visit for all types of dietary restrictions.

Less than I was expecting. A lot of Jewish deli items simply not to be found in Australia, sadly. As a NYer by way of Canberra, it was a little disappointing.As an Australian of 22 years, it was clean, tasteful, some new choices. Their potato kugel was delicious!!!

The guy behind the counter is so consistently rude every single time I’ve tried to shop here that I don’t bother anymore. It’s a real shame because they have some nice food.
