Rumsey Rose Garden
Small secluded garden located near the entrance of Parramatta park. Highlights are the variety of Roses hence the name! Maintenance could improve with more watering the trees & weed shredding as many Roses already faded even though it's still spring!

Roses that are aged more than 100 years are in the garden. Roses were pruned by the time I visited so flowers were not seen. But I was amazed by how they are still taken cared properly. In spring the flowers must be bloomed beautifully.Update: September EndRoses are blooming and they smell wonderful.

Beautiful garden located within Parramatta park. Well laid paths and a number of rose plants. A few flowers are blooming now in December. Good place for a stroll in the evening.

Interesting old heritage Roses though a few have died since I was last there, if interested in old Roses worth a look should be flowering soon

Small but flowery, lots of parking place around there, good for kids.Best for evening chat or strolling, not for picnic..

GOOD GEORGE CAFE in Parramatta Park... great place for the best coffee and quick snack after your walk or from nearby offices... breakfast, brunch, lunch afternoon snack... tasty affordable cafe-style meals such as wraps, kebabs, salads, burgers, chips... nice umbrella tables overlooking the park.

Rumsey Rose Garden
It's a small garden on one of the entrances of Parramatta Park. You can smell and see roses from different part of the world planted here. It isn't too big but worth a visit in spring if you are around.
