SIXT Car & Truck Rental Launceston City

Very disappointed to find an extra $400 has been deducted from my bank account. This 2 day car hire, cost me $633! Have requested return of my money. Was advised it would take 5 to 7 business days and then someone else told me 7 to 10 business days.When I picked up the car, I was advised that the total cost was $233, plus $200 that would be secured but not dedicated and released when I returned the car.Nothing was returned and I am now $400 out of pocket.After my second phone call to them, I was advised that the regional manager would call me back.Very disappointing end to a great weekend away.

Avoid renting cars with this company. They will charge you extra fees without any sense in the fine print !!!!! Be careful !!!!

This location is not downtown as advertised online. This office is opposite the airport. This was deceptive when choosing a drop off location. We had a hotel in city and when we went to drop off the car realised this is 15 mins from city and required a $33 Uber ride back to hotel.Also, when we called to try and extend, the rental cost was 30% more than the advertised rate for this location.All in all, we find this location unhelpful and deceptive.
