Midland Irrigation (Ballarat)

We had a bore and a two kilometre irrigation system installed 17 years ago which recently stopped working. The original installers were contacted and came out the same day to inspect. I had the impression it was all too hard and had to follow up with a few telephone calls which confirmed my impression.Nearby farmers spoke highly of Midland Ballarat so I rang and they returned my call later that day to arrange an inspection the following working day. Jacob attended and determined the electrics were ok and it was most likely a faulty pump. He lifted it out of the casing, at 95metres deep, and said they'd look at the pump in the workshop. Later the same day he rang to say it was not worth repairing and I asked for a quote for pump plus all replacement above ground fittings. They would also replace the 38mm water tube and install a stronger power cable.A week later when parts arrived Jacob again attended and had the pump and components in and new electric controller fitted and bleed the system which had some air causing erratic flow.I found Jacob and the overall service from Midland outstanding and will mention their excellent work at our next farmers meeting. Well done fellas from an extremely satisfied and highly impressed customer.

The staff were helpful & efficient, even modifying & testing my pressure pump while l waited. Fantastic service.

My 3 toilets and laundry are all serviced by tank water with no mains back up. When my pump failed, I called a plumber who suggested that the pump is likely no good. When I asked if he could quote, and when he could do it, I received no reply. I removed the pump and called Midland. The staff member Rod suggested that the pump could be repaired and could I bring it in? I dropped the pump off at 9:40am amd it was repaired by 10:00am, THE SAME DAY, at a cost of $78. Both Mel and Ryan were also extremely pleasant and helpful. I know that these guys probably sell and develop irrigation systems worth $000s. But my treatment as a smaller customer was outstanding. Thank you all. I have already told several colleagues of my experience.

They had exactly what I wanted and the service was excellent. Their prices are very high and it disappointed me that I had to buy another expensive (standard) fitting to make it work for me, so it was even more expensive. If they had have swapped it over, instead of suggesting I throw it away, i would have given it 5 star rating.

Awesome! Awesome! Awesome!. The absolute best way to describe the outstanding old fashioned customer service we received from Midland Irrigation. We moved into our new property which has bore water for 90% of the water into the house. On move in day the bore pump stopped working. We called Midland at 7.30am & spoke to Mick. We sent him some photos of the old bore pump & within 5 minutes Mick called to say that they could help us & that one of his team would be at our place today to get us back on track with water to the house, so we could flush toilets, have a shower, & drinking water. At 9.30 Jacob arrived. He was courteous, professional & certainly knowledgeable & immediately put us at ease . Within 30 minutes Jacob had installed our new pump, checked not only the pump but also our water tanks, & gave us some excellent advice on how we could refigure our water system to the house. Called at 7.30am, problem fixed at 10am. To Midland, Mick & Jacob a huge thank you not only for fixing our problem but for the absolutely outstanding service.
